First time at this little store it was really fun and the staff was super helpful and friendly. We picked up a few things and so far everything has been wonderful!

I am glad we have Russian market ! They had almost all our specific products . Leon who works there are very nice and kind person, care about his costumers and quality of food and he speaks both languages and know everything about our culture.

They have pelmeni. I was lucky enough to get the last few bags before selling out. Only place in hundreds of miles where I've found pelmeni. Without pelmeni, I move back to NYC, it's as simple as that.

Этот магазин мы коротко называем "Русский магазин". Все дело в том что в Америка это страна основная масса людей в которой - иммигранты со многоих стран и континетов. У всех когда-то была традиция вести свой образ жизни и питаться по-своему. И когда иммигрант лишается самого главного компонента своей жизни (химический состав пищи, значит, и крови , именно тогда иммигрант может чувствовать себя дискомфортно - при недостатке в организме химических элементов местности. Именно в этом вопросе помогает магазин - есть большой выбор продуктов питания - семечки, колбаса Докторская, Московская. До колбасы есть корейская морковка и помидоры в маринаде. также есть сгущенное молоко и пряники. Пельменей не было в этот раз - мы были 24-апреля. Обслуживание отличное и все отлично.

I love this place! The owner is friendly and helpful. The focus is primarily on foods from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania etc. and they sell some absolutely fantastic cheeses and sausages, which they will slice for you (having allowed you to taste first!). They also sell some great rye breads. I often choose the selection of German "pastas" (i.e. Spaetzle) which I have never seen on sale anywhere else in this area. Highly recommended.

Not ur typical Russian European store.... But they do have some selection kinda empty looking and prices are on the higher side

I was born in Ukraine and when I moved to New Orleans two years ago for graduate school I resigned myself to only occasionally eating the food I grew up with when I visited my parents. Thankfully a class mate told me about this place and now I can get most of what I crave whenever I want. This store has an excellent selection of Eastern European foods - for anyone that grew up with a polish/Russian deli they'll find their favorites and for anyone that wants to try something new you can find some great stuff here. I recommend picking up some herring, picked tomatoes and pickled mushrooms. The store is hard to find - it's behind the Taco Bell (in the back of the closed Rite Aid) if you're going down Williams Boulevard but it's worth visiting. The owner Leon was incredibly nice. I can't wait to return for all my future specialty needs!

We've been coming to buy a Polish products. ONLY in the Eastern European Food store you will find a Polish / Russian style sauerkraut ( not German with vinegar) and pickles in brine (without vinegar) and much, much more.
