Just recently found out about this place, I'd go out of my way if I'm within an hour detour to get here. Amazing doughnuts, absolutely great folks working there! I've bought some of the pancake mixes, highly recommend as well as Bob's cousin Steve Evens sausage, delicious! Can't speak highly enough about the place! Thanks to everyone working there!

Well worth the detour from the highway. Great fresh donuts and baked goods. Good selection of things to try. Jams, sausage and other treats. I don't think you will be disappointed. I will stop again the next time I drive out there.

Have been coming here with my sisters from Milton, West Virginia, for 6 or 7 years. I’m from Roanoke, Virginia, and take a dozen & a half cinnamon twists back each trip (they are the least sweet items & super delish). One of their workers told my sister how to freeze them in wax paper & place in freezer bags. They last me 6 weeks. Superbo with coffee in the morning. We always have their great coffee & our fave items while there. Prices very reasonable compared to some places in nearby states. The last time we were there we had the Pillows also. Super delish‼️ Will be over end of August & will have some more😋

Lovely place in the countryside. Amazing donuts and other delicious pastries. Sauces, relishes, bagged candy, cheeses, and a little cafe as well!! If you are near Jackson, Ohio..do not miss 4 Mike Bakery!

OMG....YOU HAVE TO GO!!!! Four Mile Bakery up Four Mile Rd in Jackson Ohio, only about 35 miles from Point Pleasant across the Ohio River. My parents constantly talked about going here. They saw the commericals & wanted "The Wagon Wheel" Donut. Unfortuneately, My Mommy passed away 13 wks ago in a car accident. My 80 yr old Daddy had been with Mommy for 60 yrs, he has dementia, grief, and depression and this was his first trip out....A Wagon Wheel Donut. He bought 2, one for him and one for Mommy, but he's eating hers tomorrow. The staff was so, so friendly. The place was so bright, colorful and full of goodies. The aroma was overwhelmingly delicious on its own right. I bought a powdered sugar filled with vanilla custard donut (OMG...KILLER) I also bought a blueberry filled Donut with cream cheese frosting on top for tomorrow. We bought a Apple Fritter and extra Wagon Wheels to share.....yeah right@! Lol for me and daddy!!! We slso picked up some cheese, Jot Sausages and spaghetti sauce, oh yeah a jar of Blackberry Jam with seeds. We had a lovely time with our Donut breakfast and brought home some nice laughs and memories.... Definitely recommend going back, and telling everyone about this lovely, friendly and delicious Bakery!!! UPDATED REVIEW: 07-2024 Today I wanted to go on adventure today, but Tony wanted to sleep. I called Kayla Beth Fields to see if her & Deacon could join me. So, I didn't tell them where we were going, only it's in Ohio!!! We headed off in my car, telling Deacon it was a electronics free day...enjoy the beautiful scenery!! We arrived at the bakery and he didn't know where we were. Outside as we were walking onto the lovely covered porch he said, " Maw Maw I smell Donuts"..I just laughed!! He had no idea that these Wagon Wheel Beauties were biggers than his head!!! We went into the store entering the Candy Maze as he called it. I have to remember to bring my cooler next time for Amish Cheese & Butter!!! I bought Kayla a Glazed Wagon Wheel, Tony a Apple Cinnamon Bear Claw, Joshua a Chocolate Frosted Peanut Butter Cream Filled, Noel a Lemon Glazed Filled and a Deacon Chocolate with Sprinkles Covered Wagon Wheel...and some donut holes to share!! Plus he got some candy! Total was $21.60 We sat down to eat our sugary treats! They were delicious and I took Tony's, Noel's & Joshua's back to Ripley to them later in the day!!! Everyone was extremely happy, Definitely going back!!!

Nice, clean place if you're looking for a nice, clean place. Don't waste your time if you're looking for a good donut. Keep driving.. to almost any other donut shop as you will undoubtedly find a tastier option there that WILL be worth the trip.

Such a lovely ride into the countryside of Ohio to a family owned bakery. The wagon wheel size donuts melt in your mouth & the other pastries are top notch. There are a variety of other products for sale. Today they were offering a lunch plate which I'm sure was equally delicious. The atmosphere is clean & comfortable. The front porch provides the perfect place to kickback & enjoy the countryside. There is a separate candle shop and down the road is a wonderful nursery. We'll be back many times.

A little out of the way. But a must visit, especially for the wagon wheel donuts.

The donuts in this bakery are fanominal. They are higher priced than most you would buy, but they are huge in size, and they are the freshest, super moist flavorful donuts that I have ever had.

We brought our youngest daughter out for her birthday donut and had a wonderful time. Always great to see what upgrades and additional products get added each time we swing by.

I happened to be in the area to pick up a kitten for a rescue and found this wonderful shop online. It was charming inside. The owner was very personable, he made me feel very welcome. And the donuts are delicious and HUGE! If you ever venture to this area, don't miss this place, you will be very happy!

I've heard about the bakery for years from my wife and here family so on our last trip down south I stopped in with her to see what it was all about and it did not disappoint. The smell of fresh baked donuts hits your nose as soon as you walk in. The bear claw was fresh and delicious

If you're a donut lover. You have to make this a stop on any trip!! They also have other items for sale. Their sandwiches are just as yummy as the donuts

We like stopping here on our way out of Ohio. The people are always friendly. General Store selection is good. Donuts are great! Wish they still served the sausage sandwich everyday.

This place is quite frankly AWESOME! Donuts are among the best I have ever tasted. Other items sold in store are very good. Got a jar of Peach Preserves and was so good i went back the next day to get another. Also got Apple Butter BBQ sauce which I can't wait to try. Store is tidy and layout is nice. Staff very helpful. Angela was very sweet and friendly and was a pleasure to speak with. Cannot recommend this place enough. An absolute gem. Hope to visit again soon.

The food was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture of how good it looked. The store has jams, candy, cheese, etc. More importantly, they had lots of amazing donuts! Donuts were served buffet style which was amazing for my social anxiety. The apple bear claw was my favorite. Another building had non-edible goods but it was not pet friendly so we didn't go.

The best donuts I've had in a long time... my husband called them world class compared to our previous amish donuts from Der Dutchman. Staff is incredibly nice and they always have a smile on their faces.

The smell of sweet breakfast heaven. No kidding. This little shop is worth the drive out of town. The BEST ,I cannot stress this enough, THE BEST, fresh doughnuts and baked goods anywhere. If you're looking for a hidden local gem, this is it. Stop by, sit on the porch, and enjoy fresh coffee with your favorite breakfast treat. Here you can also find a lot of the candies and connections one might remember from a time gone by. Sweets aren't the only thing they offer. While you're in for breakfast you could also grab some dinner fixings with locally crafted ingredients like pasta and sauces. Definitely stop by if you get a chance, but check their hours first. I believe they are only open Thursday through Saturday. I recommend the classic glazed donuts. You can't go wrong. Cheers.

Such a fun little stop. Greenhouses for days, talking parrots, lots of wildlife, and incredible donuts in the cutest little store.

HEADS UP CONSUMERS! Not a good day trip. Their commercials do not express they are ONLY OPEN 3 DAYS per week, and close at 3 p.m. They do not restock or bake more regardless of crowd. Arriving after 2 p.m.from Huntington, there were about 6 doughnuts left of their least selling flavors. The hazelnut one I purchased was like a large scone, cakie, all bread with a thin doughnut-like glaze. I ate part of it with some coffee in my car & discarded the rest. A silver haired version of "Hartiet Olsen" pulled up with an older man and started inside but not before stopping and giving me the "stink-eye" before she abruptly turned the sign on the porch post from "Open" to "Close" . I decided To leave their rual parking lot. It was 2:57. So if you are in their wide spread t.v. area, visit the sight first and "Don't be comiN round these parts after 2p.m."

Went this morning and the service was quick and friendly. Establishment was clean and well stocked. Donuts were amazing. We decided to make another trip this direction just to stop in again.

It was a nice treat. Not sure if it will be a regular thing $ 20 for 6 donuts

Well worth the drive very nice place to eat me and the wife and both grandbabies really enjoyed this place excellent very good quality food and service we will be going back would refer this place to anyone.they have goats and horses for the baby's to pet Akira enjoyed the petting but Oliver didn't know if he liked or not.but it was definitely worth the drive great place for the kids and then you have Jackson lake looks like a great place to fish and take the conoos and just float around and fish 🐠🐟.

Pastries were outstanding. We bought a mixed dozen and also bought a box ($24.99) of Country Sausage Patties. We did not notice the Sell by date on the box was 2/15/23 and we bought them on2/26/23. I called and left a message but never heard back. $64.87 was a bit expensive for 12 donuts since we threw the Sausage out.

Oh man, these jewels are worth every calorie! Come in and browse they've got tons of candy and good sandwiches too.

Delicious donuts if a bit pricey. Lovely location. Cute store. I would gripe that the Apple fritters aren’t exactly Apple fritters (where are the apples?) but they were still tasty.

Amazingly delicious! We busted it to get there after seeing a sign on the highway, arrived 2 minutes before closing. The staff was so nice and patient and even gave us a sample of the wagon wheel. Never had a better donut! We purchased a variety of kinds and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Can’t wait to visit again next time and try other items.

Donuts are tasty but expensive! And the solicitation to tip when customers must stand in line for 20 minutes or more waiting is shockingly rude. Also felt very rushed because you cant see what donuts are available until you get to the front of the line, due to big shelving gondola in middle of store

After the first bite, to me, it was the best donut I have eaten....until this time I always considered a warm Krispy Kreme straight off the conveyor the best, but Four Mile donuts are #1.

Not only are the donuts absolutely fabulous so are the people that work in there some of the nicest young ladies I have ever met will definitely go back.

I recently bought 3 dozen wagon wheel donuts, plus 2 single donuts. The donuts are great and staff is so nice, but the total was $ 96.62.Definitely not worth that much, no matter what they taste like !!!!!

There is NOTHING better than the donuts, bread, and all baked goods here. Great pulled pork sandwiches as well. The absolute best!

The glazed donuts are addicting. The coffee is smooth and tasty. I would go there every day of I loved closer. And if they were open every day. They are open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

We LOVE 4 mile! Their wagon wheel glazed donuts are to die for! Lots of other menu items too. Go early or they run out!

This restaurant is located in Jackson Ohio. We drove roughly 1.5 hours to see it and very much Enjoyed their inhouse pastries and wonderful Amish food.

Staff is very friendly. Very clean place, warm & inviting. I think prices on some sandwiches & drinks are over priced. We enjoyed our visit at Four Mile Bakery.

It's OK but my dad got an apple fritter it had no Apples and a cream filled, all the cream was at one end lol wish they had gluten free donuts.

The donuts were good. The sandwiches were just ok. I thought it would be bigger.

Donuts are great, a little pricey as they are priced by the donut. My mom and I got 1.5 dozen donuts and 2 bags of donut holes and it was almost 65 dollars. Would have got 5 stars but just feel for the area its overpriced.

Got the one with filling and there wasn't hardly any in it. Not good when you pay $1.00 extra for filling. Didn't have a very big variety

Simply the best doughnuts I’ve had in many years. Their big, wagon wheel glazed are great as was their maple-pecan fritter. I’m only visiting this area. I wish they had a store in Tucson where I live.

This place is always packed but they have additional parking on the other side of the building. Nice assortment of baked goods and other products. Place looked clean and the donuts were delicious.

I have been wanting to go to their bakery for some time now. It didn't disappoint. I brought some donuts home for my daughter and her family, they still tasted wonderful the next day.

This is a very nice place. But come prepared to spend a lot of money. If you want donuts it will cost you. $23.50 a dozen. A little ridiculous.

Really good donuts. A bit off the beaten path, but worth the trip if you're in the area. The giant raised donuts (wagon wheels) are really good- too many people tend to mess up donuts at that scale
