Gigi is cool as hell, the chicken is bomber and it’s the drive thru liquor store parking lot. Full package. I’m from the south east and have been disappointed by Colorado chicken everywhere but here!!

This chicken was AMAZING! Me and my boyfriend were on vacation visiting from Chicago and it’s some of the best we’ve ever had! The chicken was perfect: fresh, hot, flavorful, no tough pieces. The Mac and cheese was delicious and the honey mustard, bbq sauce, and ranch were equally tasty! They should consider selling the sauces in their own bottles to take home! Both workers were incredibly friendly and generous, they gave us extra sauce, an extra chicken tender, and a whole extra side of Mac and cheese! Overall we both highly recommend this place! 🍗😋

As local's here in BV - we luv us some of GiGi's chicken. It reminds me of my GiGi's-Grandmother's fried chicken - made with lot's of love. It's crispy, delicious and the real deal!

First, everyone is so incredibly friendly there! It makes “shopping local” enjoyable and well worth it. We ordered a platter of party wings. They were very generous with the portions and additional sauces. The wings were perfectly crispy and well seasoned. My family is often disappointed when we go out for wings because they are so often not crispy, or over-sauced, or dry and tough. But not at Gigi’s!! They were fantastic!! Our go-to place from now on. Can’t wait to be back.

Ate at Gigi's over the weekend while we were in town for a wedding and it was exactly what the doctor ordered. The fried chicken was amazing, the mac n cheese was delicious, and the people working made the experience all that much better. Portions were massive as well for the price we paid! Definitely worth checking out if you're in Buena Vista.

Edit: this was when you were outside of Ace Hardware. I would like to hear what kind of excuses you come up with now. Original: When they came to Colorado springs we waited in line for an hour to get chicken that wasn't hot and was unbelievably dry. Like throw it in the trash dry. Like it was sitting out all night dry. My boss got a ceaser salad which took just as long and also forgot his dressing. It was legit inedible and they should be ashamed of selling that trash to people. You could tell it wouldn't have been very tasty if it was juicy either.

Your truck came to Pueblo yesterday. I ordered a bucket and my sister ordered a bucket for our families. First time trying your food. My family loved it ands my sister called me just to tell me yummmm! I found it to be nicely marinated and flavorful. Not many fried chicken places season the meat itself as nicely as you do. The outside was also light, crispy, and well seasoned. I pulled a piece out of the container straight out of the fridge today and it was still very crispy. Wow! I’m not sure how I feel about, what I can only assume is fennel, in the breading. I like that it made it very distinct but it might have been just a tad too much. I’m going to have to try it again when they come back to town just to decide one way or the other. ;)

Gigi’s came to our middle school for field day. The prices they charged were like their chicken tenders- overdone. $16 for 4 tenders and sides. The chicken was dry, fries were meh. Not the best considering a school can charge $5 for In and Out and still earn a little for their school- and it’s a good burger, chips and drink. Not a fan of Gigis I’m afraid. You’d think there’d be a bit of a break for a school? Oh well- live and learn!

Gigi's was fantastic! They were so sweet and treated us to chicken and mac/cheese even though they were closing up for the evening. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful and the sauces were bomb. Thank you so much for a great experience!

I was excited based on the IG posts. Got the chicken tenders and fries + 4 biscuits. The fries were good. The chicken was very average. The biscuits were Pillsbury-like but not quite as fluffy. On a positive note service was great but not worth the almost hour wait. Maybe my expectations were too great.

I ordered a chicken Philly with Mac and cheese, and my husband got the chicken tenders with Mac and cheese. Service was good, and the person who took our order was very nice. But it then took 50 minutes to get our food. They took down phone numbers to call when your food was ready, but did not actually call. The chicken Philly was very dry overall. I had to drink a lot of water with my meal. The chicken tenders were also dry and not fresh. The Mac and cheese was the best part, with good seasoning, but still was not phenomenal. Our total was $50 (with tip) but there were no prices listed on the menu. I definitely think quantity was prioritized more than quality, and left disappointed.

Prices are insane high 14 dollars for 4 chicken tenders or 13 dollars for 3 wings all they will say is the nation prices are high so they have to charge that much

Incredible truck amazing food and service

I looove Gigi's Chicken. I've never had something I didn't like from them!! My latest obsession from them is their chicken 'n waffles. Being from the south, I am a fried chicken snob. Nobody does it like they do in Georgia...except Gigi!!! I seek out this food truck whenever I see them at local events or at their HWY 50 location. Do yourself a big ole favor and eat at Gigi's!!

Saw they will be in aurora so we came to try, we waited an hour before we ordered, but she was very nice and did apologize because it was 2 of them. All good. Food wise we wanted the wings but she was out so we got 20 piece party wings platter for 29, tender platter for 16 and the French toast sandwich. The chicken was good, tenders was a bit dry but good with the Nashville sauce. The French toast I must say was really good the apricot was top notch.

Best Chicken Philly Cheese Steak ever!

finding good fried chicken is tough. Let me tell you….this chicken is the best I’ve had in a LONG time. Whatever batter is used for frying is out of control. The flavor is on point, and they somehow do it in a way where the chicken doesn’t feel too greasy. The tenders And the nuggets are big, and the gravy is some of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t miss this food truck yall!

We saw the Gigis food truck was in town at Walmart, and were in the mood for comfort food. We ordered ahead, and were very happy with the very pleasant smiling voice that took our order. Same with the gentleman that prepared and took care of our pick up. So nice! The food was wonderful! Generous portions of delicious comfort food. The fried chicken was delicious- moist on the inside, crispy on the outside, and so tasty. The large portion of mashed potatoes and gravy was peppery yumminess! The biscuits with butter and honey were delicious as well. The tenders, although not as crispy as the chicken parts, were quite delicious! The macaroni and cheese shells side was a meal size portion, and had a delicious homemade taste. We definitely recommend this food truck!

WOWWWW! Holy chick'n tenders! I am so glad I was able to stop by this food cart when it was in town. I missed it the first go 'round and I was bummed. But Gigi's came back. Here is my thank you from Fairplay!!! I got the tenders, mac and cheese and fries. The tenders are a southern style breading and they give you dips with no extra charge. (BBQ, honey mustard, ranch) The mac and cheese is AMAZING. It's made with shell pasta, peppery and creamy. And the fries are well seasoned, cajun style. You get more for your money here than most other businesses. What I'm sayin' is...I don't think you will be disappointed! Give this food cart a go next time it rolls through your town.

Everything we have tried was fantastic! Tenders, Drumsticks, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Mac N Cheese. . . . . . The people are very nice and accommodating and the prices are reasonable, especially for what you get!! I definitely recommend calling your order in. We have done this twice and there was no waiting. Can't wait for them to come back so we can try one of the sandwiches.

Their food truck passed through grand junction, was absolutely amazing. We got the tenders and the Philly, both fantastic. The tenders had the perfect skin, was amazing with bbq sauce. The Philly was HUGE, had to use fork n knife and was delicious. Was taken back by the price but then we got our plates and found that it was well worth it, probably should’ve split the tenders instead a meal each.

If I hurried, they might still be there. They were just getting ready to pack up. But she hooked me up with some tenders and fries. Have to say I was very impressed. Very juicy and flavorful. Every time I’ve been here, it’s been a fantastic experience! The staff is always polite, helpful, friendly, and especially generous with their portions! What a great addition to Salida! What gets better than great people and great food!? My husband is so happy to have a place he can get fried chicken too!! I think I can speak on behalf of the entire Salida community and say we are grateful to have Gi Gi’s Betchin Chicken in our town!!

I finally tried this place. Was going to get some chicken then saw it was fish Friday. Ordered the fish fry and some extra fries. Everything was great! No stamped out fish collage here. I will be back for the fish and to try the chicken. Nice to pay for dinner and not feel robbed.

Gigi's Betchin-Chick-N food truck is one of Buena Vista's secret little wonders! And Salida too! And holy shadang, Gigi not only cooks up a fantastic breakfast, lunch, and dinner but the aromas before one orders has them craving for their food! Here is why her food is so fantastic: I don't even eat chicken and I'm writing a review about a place that serves chicken. The Betchin-Chick-N to be exact. I genuinely cannot tell if she cooks magic into her food, if her culinary skills are a part of her ascension gifts, or if this is what food tastes like when someone has found their purpose? It might just be love, I cannot tell. Either way is cool, what matters is that I got the 6pc tender platter with smash and corn, bbq and money mustard and it made my taste buds love the new flava-flaves! First off, the BBQ must be hand made. It totally tastes like it, that would make sense. The flavor is a tang of sweetness with a base of a rich balance between a lofty presence, And is brisk a flavor? If so, it definitely applies in a smokey kinda way. It created a brand new memory for me, or like a memory marker on the map of exploring new flavors for the palate and that's always a treat to oneself! The honey mustard is now my favorite honey mustard. I will admit that i am a little biased on this flavor, as it was a nostalgic reminder of a flavor from years ago as a child, however, that reminded me of some really good times. And that's what sold me on the HM. The honey mustard tastes like that moment when rafting down the Arkansas and there's that big flat area where the water is still yet flowing, but perfectly placid. That feels right, yeah. The Bhagavad Gita might call this flavor an active flavor within an inactive flavor? There is a subtle hidden spice, and I don't think it's horse radish, but if it is it doesn't leave that weird spicy after taste in the nose. So totally worth it imo. The corn felt super fresh on the cob and each bite was loaded with the fresh crispness of a brand new day! The smash n gravy was smooth and definitely classic, it was really well prepared and so tasty! The only thing I would change is maybe more pepper? I'm a freak when it comes to pepper, so it's all good lol. I do have a portable pepper and garlic shaker for restaurants, as an example... So it's definitely me and not Gigi on the pepper stuff. Probs didn't even have to mention it, but hey, here we are, and you're still reading about my experience, right? Not to gas light the unknown audience member that may or may not be reading this... The chicken itself had an amazing thick crunch and the aggregated seasoning plus the BBQ and the Honey Mustard are excellent combos of flavor both with texture, and I can officially say temperature as well, since I didn't give my dogs the leftovers lol. To be clear, this is a place where the food tastes like you're the 10,000th customer with every bite! And oh boy does it fill up the belly in all the right ways! Aso, besides the flavor, Gigi's customer service and sociability totally makes the short 9 minutes for our meal to reach perfection feel like a breeze. For those who don't eat chicken and wanna try, and for those who already do, this is the place to go hands down! Thank you for the great and amazing dinner, Gigi! So good. Pretty sure he dropped an extra chicken strip into my order, enormous portions, fantastic sauces and friendly and fast. We definitely hope to hit this place again when we drive through the area. It was also easy for us to pull through the lot with a large trailer.

We were passing through Salida and staying at the Hampton Inn. Yelped best places to eat and Gigi’s popped up and it was a 600 foot walk from where we were! We placed our order then came back to pick up…they had absolutely LOADed us up! The chicken was awesome, the Mac and cheese was outstanding and the fries were great. Makes me want to go back right now.

Chicken with a mountain view. This is the juiciest chicken in Southern Colorado. 🍗🍗 The chicken may come with a chicken dance. The sides are 90s home style. This was a lot of food for my friend and me. We ate some of our chicken the next day and it was just as juicy!

This man is a Philly native who serves the best chicken I’ve ever had in the 10 years I’ve lived in CO! My girlfriend and I got the chicken tenders and fries, the Mac and cheese, as well as the Sunday special wings. The buffalo wings and Nashville hot wings were tender, served fresh, and were spiced up oh so nice! The chicken tenders and crinkle cut fries were excellent and the Mac and cheese was amazing too. If you are ever cruising through Salida and hungry for some damn good chicken, make sure to see Arthur over at GiGi’s Betchin Chick-N!

First of all, Arthur is the man!! He is the definition of amazing customer service. Exactly the type of person you want to support. I was born and raised in the Carolinas and have lived in Colorado the past 5+ years. By FAR the best chicken I’ve had in CO. Definitely comparable to what you’d find in the south. He absolutely crushed it. We had wings, tenders, fries and mac and cheese. We tried all the sauces and the honey mustard is insanely good. We will be back. Yo! I absolutely love this place. The friend chicken is AMAZING, and the chicken noodle soup was great too! I was craving friend chicken and literally drove over an hour from Crestone to try it out. No regrets. The reason I had to give 4 stars was for the high price, and the fact that I was only given the option of buying a 3 piece with 1 side when the menu said 2 piece with 2 sides. I had read the menu in advance, so was a little disappointed. Even a written change on the menu out front would have been nice. However, the service was great otherwise! We were greeted by a dancing rainbow chicken, which my toddler loved, and the Staff was super nice, even bringing food to our table. Next time I'm craving chicken, I'll come again. Maybe I'll even change to 5 stars, because it came so close to perfect!
