Whenever we are in the area, we always make sure this is a stop. The food is great and the service is excellent. The owners are really hospitable and goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Plus don't forget to grab some snacks before you leave.

I'm not Philippino, but this place is amazing. I met my step Mothers parents here. They are from the 🇵🇭 Philippines.

This is my favorite restaurant!!! Me and my two sisters come here very often. The food is always amazing, the family is always so sweet and friendly. I recommend it all the time.

Looking for a Filipino restaurant in the area and I was glad to find Kabayan. Definitely satisfied my cravings for the rice noodles and jackfruit in coconut cream. The only letdown was the halo halo. There was no flan and the ice cream they used was vanilla ice cream. I hope they will give an option of charging a bit more for an authentic Filipino ice cream considering they sell various flavors of Filipino ice creams in their store. Overall am a happy customer and will return if am in the area.

Amazing Asian Filipino food, takes me back home. The food is freshly cooked when ordering and amazing selection of home filippino cooking. They have a variety of groceries that you can get frozen and take home bakery. Just a lovely spot with great service.

I was excited to see this restaurant to try on and it’s disappointed my tortang talong comes with stem and feels like bones comes with it. They included so watch out u might choke and die with it. The owner insists that I never eaten tortang talong ?? The eggplant came as a omelette that you won’t see the stem on it? Get it owner you should close your store … I’m going to talk to food inspectors to come there..

Eat here once in a while when I crave Filipino foods. Always good. Got some of my goodies I need for pansit offcourse. Love their food, place is clean, friendly staffs.

If u haven't tried Filipino food you're missing out on some ethnic food that's available locally. The menu is intimidating if you're not familiar, I recommend lumpia (it's like an egg roll), the pancit (clear noodles), garlic fried rice, and the bbq skewers. I don't really like cooked fish items. You can really push out of your comfort zone or my reccs aren't too unfamiliar while still being different.

Reminds me of my auntie’s dinuguan, barbecue and pancit. it taste the same with their Karenderia in Philippines🥹❤️ I didn’t ordered a lot coz my mother inlaw prep foods for us already. next time I will inform her I will order some filipino dishes in Kabayan heheehehe. Kabayan is always excellent. Everyone is friendly, and EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious. I often find myself craving adobo and skewers from Kabayan.

Like the lumpia but did not like the halo halo. Took pork adobo home, delicious 😋. Also got to get some groceries.

I went in there to order pancit with fried pork and I got some salty beef instead and ended up with a stomach ache. Everybody in there was nice except for the guy named Steve . I told him I had the wrong order and he told me that what I got is what I ordered , when I showed him it was wrong he said “we’re done here , I’m going to reverse the order” I told him I want to keep my food just wanted fried pork instead of beef and he became upset with me because I told him that wasn’t fried pork. I always recommend this place but won’t be anymore because of him.

Absolutely delicious food, and the staff was nice, too. I ordered the ginataang langka and halo-halo. The ginataang langka was savory and creamy; it reminded me a lot of clam chowder or cream of mushroom soup but with a slightly more herbal/fragrant taste. It comes with rice and is vegetarian. I was surprised how much food it was considering it was only $6! The halo-halo was great, too, and pretty large. The ube ice cream in it was somewhat icy, but since you're supposed to mix it all up anyway, it wasn't that off-putting. If was fun to brows the small grocery section while I waited for my order. I bought a bag of chips, as well. A bunch of small details about the restaurant were unexpected to me though: (1) you pay at the register after you're done eating, (2) they didn't serve water or any drinks along with the meal, and I assume this is because it's the type of restaurant that doesn't have waiters, and (3) my order and my friend's order were served to us on the same plate. We each had individual plates for ourselves though. These aren't necessarily bad, but they might be worth a heads up.

It is one of the best places to get Filipino food. They have catered many parties I've been to and the food as always flawless.

Great comfort food. Friendly staff. Always hits the spot when I come dine here. Also if you need something for the kitchen, just walk over to the cute mini grocery store a few steps away. My experience has always been yummy and order my regular slurps, Dinuguan, Pancit Canton, Jeprox, Pompano Sinigang, Pork BBQ, Lumpia, and for the final Burp Halo Halo

The lunch I had with my wife was spectacular. They should charge more for there food because it's that good. Hidden Gem for sure. Also it's quite hilarious the amount of filipina wifes married to American men eating restaurant all at the same time. Would come back for sure!

Sisig, tortang eggplant and halo halo not good!

If you are looking for some great Pinoy food and friendly people, you have to try Kabayan. All the food we ordered was cooked while we waited and tasted so good. The BBQ pork was out of this world. Price was very good. After we ate we picked up so Pinoy snacks. Real authentic and greatly run restaurant and grocery items.

They have good philipino food and you can also shop for snacks, drinks, noodles and frozen items in the corner of the restaurant. I recommend checking out the place, one of my favorite to go places 😊

Kabayan has been my family’s go-to Filipino takeout spot for probably 10+ years. Their ube birthday cakes and fried fish bangus are our top choices, and I always pick up Filipino snacks from their store. The spanish bread and ube bread they get shipped in are my favorites. I recommend you stop in and say hi.

Food is made fresh to go, always have great tasting food and the staff is very friendly.

The Pork Shanghai Lumpia (pork springroll) is always a hit at parties. 1/2 tray is about $20.

The food that I ordered was very expensive and over cooked. The bbq pork sucks, it was even burnt, the worst sisig I’ve ever had, halo halo was delicious.

We were on our way to the airport and want to get a quick early dinner. We called 30 minutes prior to arrival to order our food ahead. The food was ready when we arrived. The food is delicious and we were able to catch our flight.

Yay third time coming by and they are open. Drove from Port Charlotte, on our way to West Palm Beach, stopped by and had some eats. Very happy with what we ordered. Certainly will be back when we are traveling through.

There's no way the food is this good!! But it is! I've traveled to other Asian countries and loved the food.... But sadly it is not always easy to find authentic food as many restaurants are seeking to cater to American palate, so often the flavors are enhanced with chemicals and seasonings that aren't always as healthy for you to eat. Kabayan had absolutely delicious food that tastes very healthy and authentic!! I may have a new favorite place to eat!!!!😊😊😊

My kid was getting a hair cut next door so I walked over to check this place out. I was thoroughly impressed. Food was outstanding and the gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and informative as I had never been there before but I will definitely be back soon!

Mom and pop shop. Food overall is wholesome, delicious with some occasional misses at times. Everyone is super friendly. Definitely a great place to visit to get your fix of filipino food.

I just move here and Ive been craving for a filipino food. I search a filipino restaurant and happen to find this restaurant. Oh boy! Im glad i did! This place is underrated if i give this restaurant a 10 ⭐️ i will rate it 10. Thats how satisfied i am with their food. I mean the food is really delicious and very affordable! I was in shock how big the portion of the meal. They are very generous with the food. I feel like home! Im thankful i found this place and i will comeback and order more foods.

Food was incredible! Really took me back to my childhood. My Father was a native of the Philippines. The food was as good as my Aunt Pillar used to make for us on weekends.

Amazing Filipino restaurant and mini market. The variety of the food was amazing first of all, the preparation of the food? Sensational. You can easily tell they make it homemade and most importantly FRESH. Being one of the only Filipino restaurants near me, it's tough to see another place open up and be as successful as Kabayan because they definitely set the high standard for what sit down dining for Filipino food should be. Definitely my go-to spot for some delicious Filipino food. Highly recommend.

This place is one of my favorites! Fair prices, considerable dishes and the staff are always very kind.

Very good food at.reasonable price. Service fair. My friend was served her meal and mine came out about 5 minutes later. Never saw the waitress again. Didn't check during our meal to ask if everything is ok. If the restaurant was busy I could understand but we were the only customers there at that time before more people showed up.

Craved for delicious Filipino food and this place hit the spot! Everything we ordered was delicious: lechon kawali (my fave), lumpia shanghai, crispy pata (HUGE serving, i finished this in a week! crunchy and tasty, so good!), sinigang bangus belly, garlic rice, pork inihaw. Highly recommended!

Only place close to get Filipino food. Food is decent. You have to get up and get your own drink. We’ve been coming here for a year or more you think the owner would love us. Maybe he’s just shy. They need more Filipino candy to sell.

They have a friendly staff. Their bangus sisig and ampalaya are the best! Sometimes they put a lot of salt on the food. Make sure you order at least an hour in advance.

Being the only Filipino restaurant in the area it's good. Nothing takes the place of home cooking when it comes to this cuisine.

Food was a good reminder of home. Service was nice but TV had an inappropriate VIOLENT show despite multiple kids were present. I would have appreciated a clear breakdown of my huge bill rather than hoping it was correct. I felt I was overcharged. Over all, I would go again bc it's the only one of kind.

Very small market. I am rating this solely on the market, and not the restaurant available in the store. There weren't too many Asian products available. Just a few snacks, seasonings, and a few types of noodles.
