We made a quick stop and grabbed some food to go for our long road trip. The service and food were good. We had the shrimp diablo, chicken quesadilla, and black beans and rice.

Lulus Mexican restaurant is the bomb! Located in a low-key spot that'll have you feeling like you stumbled upon a hidden gem. The food is off the charts delicious, with flavors that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance, especially the mouthwatering fajitas. The service is decent, nothing to write home about, but hey, you're there for the food, right? And the prices won't break the bank either. Lulus is definitely a must-visit for anyone craving some authentic Mexican goodness! ¡Delicioso!

The food was decent. I had the Chili Colorado, and the husband and I shared the Asada Fries. My husband got the chimichanga and the tamale. The Chili Colorado was nice. It had a little kick to it. The asada fries came in a bowl for some reason. All the cheese went to the bottom and the meat was very under seasoned. The chimichanga came out square covered in cheese, which was kinda weird and was very under seasoned. Outside of the asada fries and the chimichanga, everything else tasted fine. Service was very good. Everyone was friendly. Did have to wait to get refills in drinks when the restaurant only had a few customers, but they were apologetic about it. I would for sure recommend this place to friends.

Everything was great! Small but great place!

Traveling with family of 6 down I-10 and they wanted Mexican. We randomly found this small, cozy and clean Mexican restaurant. Food was gourmet and delicious. Definitely a step up from normal Mexican. We have picky kid eaters and was a success! Service was excellent. PS - Clean bathrooms

Refried beans very soupy, food lacked flavor/seasoning.

Excellent service, Jaguar was super friendly and they got the food out so fast! It was fresh off the grill too. If you are traveling on I-10 make sure to stop off here!

We ordered the steak fajita nacho this is our first time there everything was fresh and good just a steak had some fat on it just next time I'll tell him to trim the fat because it don't taste too good in the nachos but otherwise restaurants kept up very clean service was excellent and food was nice and hot and fast definitely recommended for being our first time there I hope you enjoy it like we did

I absolutely love this place. Best Mexican food on the East side of Tallahassee. I go at least 2-3 times per month.

Institutionalized tasting food. Mole sauce is extremely spicy. Not much food for price you pay. Lacks communication of menu.

Wasn’t sure what to think when we saw it attached to a gas station, but it blew us away. Not only was the food delicious and fresh, but our server was friendly and attentive. We arrived to an empty restaurant and when we left every table was full and they were rocking Togo orders - will visit again!

This is a delicious place tucked away on the edge of town. It has some of the tastiest Hispanic food I've ever had. It was clean and tidy, the staff was quick and polite. The portions were on the smaller side, but the flavor was huge. Very delicious, very much worth your time.

Great authentic food! We came here for lunch based on google reviews. I'm glad we did. The food was hot and fresh. Our waitress was so friendly. I would say it's a little pricey for the same food we get at other Mexican restaurants but t's clean and food is cooked to order.

We tried this for the first time just now, and it exceeded my expectations! We let our server know we were on a time crunch and they absolutely went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. They helped us put in the order ASAP, food and a chip refill came out shortly after, and finally boxes and check were received in a timely fashion upon request. Last, but not least, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Wish I had time to snap pictures. We will definitely be back!!

I ate lunch here on a Wednesday. The food was outstanding! I had a beef burrito smothered in queso. My kids had a quesadilla off the kid's menu and a chimichanga off the regular menu. Everything was delicious. I'll definitely stop back by when I am in Tallahassee again.

The food was amazing, but, maybe because it was lunchtime, the server kept making us feel rushed. I was afraid to pause eating for fear of her grabbing my plate. It was full, which is a good indicator that the food is good.

We have eaten here three times since moving to the area recently and enjoyed it every time. Prices are average, but the food is well above average! Friendly and fast service in a nice atmosphere. Take away is a great option and you get just as much with a take-away order as with in-house meals, including nachos and salsa. Highly recommend the chicken & chorizo burrito (pollo-rizo) - covered in cheese sauce and explosions of amazing flavor!

When we moved to the East side of Tallahassee we were on the lookout for good local restaurants- Lulus delivered with amazing service, great food and convenience. We have been back several times in the four months we have lived here and know we will back for many more nachos, tacos and burritos for years to come!

The Carne Asada was excellent, but the Tacuitos were uninspired. The server was diddling her cell phone instead of caring for patrons

We went into lulus eat and the server put my order in wrong. I ordered street tacos and they made fajitas. He brought out the tortillas before the food was brought out so we were confused and told him he made the mistake. So when the food came out he brought me the fajitas and told me to just make the tacos out of it. And said that the onions are just already grilled with the meat. And i told him thats not a street taco. He told me he would take it back and pick out the oinions for me. Told me they didn't want to waste food and they weren't going to make me my correct food. Absolutely the worst place. Will never go back and will never recommend if this is how they treat paying customers.

Yesterday evening was my first visit to Lulu's. Parking is at the door. The service was fast and friendly. The prices reasonable. The food was well prepared and delivered quickly - but... bland, so bland. I understand the dilemma; make food spicy and people complain, but cilantro isn't spicy, and I don't add salt to my food for medical reasons. I hope to return to Lulu's and search the menu for more lively food choices. Best of luck to them.

Had the steak street tacos and they were very good. Service was friendly and they changed the TV off of a program very quickly that was inappropriate for the atmosphere. We were just passing through but would stop there again and eat if we had the opportunity!

Small family owned businesses with great food, incredible value and good service. And it's close to the interstate which is how I found it.

The food is great. My kid loves the tacos. I'm a fan of the steak fajitas. The staff is friendly and attentive. The place is clean. There are several big screen TV's with various sports and news programs on. Indoor and outdoor seating. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's kinda small. In time , I think they'll grow and get bigger place. They have what it takes to grow. Good food, good employees and a clean place.

Much needed little gem on this side of town! The food is great (great chorizo!) and people are nice here. Only complaint is it can get a little tight during the busier hours since there isn't much room.

I sat down to eat, and this would have been the third time that I went to this establishment to eat. I ordered a taco meal and they do not have a taco meal that comes with tomatoes and lettuce to put on the tacos. So after 10 minutes he came back and told me that they would not be able to give me any tomatoes or lettuce for less than five dollars. I even ask them is there a meal that I can have tacos and this particular stuff Simple chopped tomatoes and chopped lettuce just to put on my tacos. They told me that it would be five dollars for the toppings for my tacos so I kindly declined stood up and left. There are too many places to eat in Tallahassee for somebody to pester you about a few pieces of chopped up tomatoes and lettuce. My family and I will not be eating at this location ever again like I said, there are far too many places in Tallahassee, who are more accommodating.

We stayed a night in Tallassee and found this restaurant to order for food to go. The food were all delicious. We had the chicken fajitas, chicken quesadilla, street taco, lulus salad and taco salad. Everything was so good. Chicken was well seasoned and not very salty. Glad we tried it out.

It's a cute, little hole in the wall. Very clean and friendly. The service was fast and our waitress was very friendly. The price was great. The food was OK. I had the steak street tacos. The flavor was on point but the steak was over cooked. It was dry and hard to swallow. It hurt going down my throat. But, I'll try it again in a few months to see if they've worked out the kinks.

Not too bad for an inexpensive quick dinner. Wasn’t the best I’ve had but wasn’t the worst either. I’d come back in a pinch.

I had heard a lot of great things about Lulu’s, and I was excited to try it. The tacos I had were very good! I’ve had a couple menu items now, and none of them disappointed. If you’re on this side of town, it’s definitely worth checking out! It is tight quarters inside, so if you plan on trying to have a meeting over lunch, this might not be the best place with others seated pretty close, but the food is good!

Stopped here based on a friend’s recommendation. It was really good. The chicken fajitas were very good. Nice little place.

Carne Asada was ok onions not done enough they were hard. The beans and rice were cold needed reheating.

The server and atmosphere here are great! It was a very nice place to go for lunch. I was a little disappointed with the portion size for the price though. I ordered the steak quesadilla and it was delicious, but I would have liked a little more food with it.

Good food. Nice people. Hole in the wall, so maybe not the best place for a first date. But fresh, high-quality food at a fair price. I do recommend takeout, and personally, I find the food a little bland, so I add liberal amounts of Chulula to my burritos, but most American palates will find it quite perfectly seasoned.

They were very nice. The food came out quickly and was hot. Had a sample of steak offered to us and it was tasty.

I always enjoy going to this place. The food is always great and great portions too. I get the burrito bowl because I'm gluten free (most of the time) and it is very tasty and hard to finish. Very friendly staff as well and clean environment!

I am so glad there is a great, authentic Mexican restaurant by the hotel I stay at when in town for work. The food was amazing and large portions. I had the chorizo street tacos which were perfection. The chef walked around the chic dining area checking on patrons' and their satisfaction with their meals. That was very nice and professional. I look forward to returning and again, so happy they are right here by the hotel.

It's on the expensive side for Mexican food compared to other restarunts in town. Although the food and service were good, for the price, I expected higher quality.

Very good place for a quick bite to eat! Burritos we're huge but stuffed with shrimp, beef and chicken. Came with a side of rice and refried beans that was good. Plenty to eat. The hard shell tacos were delicious. Service was well done and fast. Bathrooms were clean.

The food was good just wasn't enough steak in the fajitas, in my opinion, for the price. I can say my food came in a timely fashion. The staff was nice. The restaurant was really clean and so was the restroom. It was a cute little spot for a bite.

The new ownership has really brought this place back to life! Went with a buddy for supper and ordered the carne asada, it was a very generous portion (I had enough for lunch the next day), service is on point and most importantly the food was absolutely delicious and quite authentic! Don’t come here expecting some taco bell .. You’re getting true cuisine. Very fair pricing and great selection of beer.

In town for our Daughter's college graduation from FSU. Our daughter had eaten at Lulu's earlier in the day and told us we had to stop and eat there because the food was awesome! So, we arrived later that night and stopped to eat at Lulu's....and we were so happy that we did! Atmosphere was great! Prices were great! Service was great! And the food......amazing and authentic! My husband is very particular about his Mexican food (since he is from Mexico), and he had the enchiladas with mole and stated that it was the most authentic flavor he has had since his mom's. The tortillas are made fresh, by hand, daily! And for dessert...the cheesecake chimichanga was amazing! We highly recommend you visit Lulu's Taqueria!
