The food is delicious, I’ve never tried anything I haven’t liked. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant interior is very welcoming and nice. We order frequently and Mai Dragon is definitely a household favorite.

We've tried several places for Chinese food and this is the best. Chicken is chunky and good sized in the sweet and sour. Soup is delicious. Egg rolls crispy. Fast service, nice servers, good price. Wide variety if you want a dish less typical. It's the only place we get take out. On occasion, we like eating in also. Discount if you pay in cash!

Absolutely delicious. Even though it was peak busy time when I came in, I was taken care of excellently and never had to worry about waiting for a refill. I have no idea what's different about the Wasabi here vs anywhere else I've ever had it, but this was really quite good.

Everything we tried was good! Really loved the savory sticky rice, shumai and of course the sesame balls. We were seated quickly at 2pm on a Sunday when we expected we'd have to wait. We never felt ignored or forgotten and we didn't spend as much as we thought we would. We'll be back for sure.

The dim sum was amazing and so was the sushi! The service was great too except I was a cold. The AC is freezing lol. Will be back!

Food- fried rice, Singapore street noodles and shrimp with Chinese broccoli. Be careful, second time buying food here and it is extremely salty. Friendly service but does not seem to care about cooking the food better.

No fuss restaurant serving great food. The shrimp and string beans was wonderful as well as the shrimp tempura roll. My best friend ordered triple meat egg foo young. Wonderful as well. Not greasy and so fluffy. 10/10 would visit again when I'm in the area.

We ordered a salt and pepper squid and a Thai Dynamite chicken for take out. No basil in our Thai Dynamite so this was just a soupy chicken dish with little flavor. Ingredients (especially the chicken) was very low quality. Plenty of better alternatives like East Moon, Chopstix Cafe, and Asian Bistro. We had tried the dimsum on another visit and this was also horrible.

Excellent food, excellent service.

Ordered the beef chow fun to go. I also want to note that this is their lunch portion. In addition to the portions being very generous, the chow fun is amazing. I’m from New York , and this is some of the best I’ve had in Maryland. The beef is well seasoned and very tender.

Dim sum here is always amazing. For solely English speakers, it may seem too fast paced (which is how dim sum usually operates), so if you have a friend who speaks either Mandarin or Cantonese I would recommend to go with them! I wanted to add some dim sum dishes I recommend!! 1. Egg custard tart 2. Sesame ball - if you dont want oily stuff dont get this 3. Spare ribs with black beans- always a favorite 4. Shrimp rice noodle - it's the long white thing and there will be some sweet sauce with it. Note: I know some people may not enjoy it because it's a very different type of texture, but just give it a try! 5. Also, their tea is great! Chrysanthemum or black tea both are my go to!

Been awhile since I was here. The dim sum is still the best in the area. The beef rice rolls were made fresh to order, as were the roast pork rice roll. Service was very, very attentive...our empty dim sum plates were removed as fast as we finished with them. My only complaint are the tables I was sitting at, they are not steady... they wobble if you put any pressure on it. Still my go-to place for dim sum within Anne Arundel County.

I have brought carryout from here before. But unfortunately, I was very dissatisfied with my order. The Singapore noodles was not very tasty and not spicy at all. And calamari was not good either. Maybe they have a new cook or something. But I'm second guessing if I will go here again.

Old guy waiter has foul customer manners, even when I was polite and trying to be respectful. If you don't want to ruin your precious day off by receiving bad treatment, don't eat here. There are a lot of chinese restaurants in the area whose waiters would be glad to serve you

My son and I recently visited this Chinese restaurant for the first time. Since it's located very close to our house, we went in wearing simple clothes—my son in shorts and a plain white shirt, and I was in yoga pants and a white shirt. This isn't a fancy restaurant; it's supposed to be a casual neighborhood spot. We approached our visit with politeness and respect, always thanking the servers and saying please. Unfortunately, our experience with one waiter, Jacky, was quite disappointing. From the moment we were seated, Jacky greeted us with a stern and almost angry expression. Initially, I thought it might just be his demeanor, but I soon noticed a stark contrast in how he treated other tables nearby, especially those with well-dressed Asians and white patrons. Jacky would smile warmly at them, but the moment I raised my hand to request something, his smile vanished, and his expression turned stern. Despite my initial decision to ignore this behavior, it became impossible to overlook. We made additional order of siumai, which Jacky took with the same stern face. After waiting for 30 minutes, I followed up, only to receive a curt and almost angry response: "It's coming," followed by him turning his back on us. Another 15 minutes passed, and we finished our meal without ever receiving the siumai. I had to cancel the order in frustration due to his consistently poor treatment, which made us feel ignored and unwelcome. To anyone considering dining here, be aware that good treatment from Jacky seems to be reserved for those who are well-dressed. My son and I are both professionals earning six figures, and Jacky should not judge customers based on their attire. His treatment of us was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. On a positive note, the elderly lady who gave us the check was nice and almost made a gesture of apology on behalf of Jacky. This restaurant needs to focus on customer training to ensure all patrons are treated with the same respect and courtesy.

It is nice to have an authentic dim sum spot close to home. They have a good variety of Cantonese and Chinese dishes to choose from. We had beef chow fun with chinese broccoli, shrimp and pork steamed dumplings and chicken feet, an order of mango shrimp tempura sushi. Everything was good, except the small side dish of rice seemed pretty dry, imo.

Mai Dragon has some of the best Chinese food! We order from here a couple of times a month and have yet to be disappointed. My husband always gets General Tso's chicken and he loves the flavor and spicyness. I change what I get each time, but it has all been really good.

Every dish i had was cold. I had high hopes because this was the place that popped up the most when it came to dim sum in my area. Will do more research

Got orange chicken, orange beef, and soy sauce chicken. None of them taste good. So plain

I personally always get the Singapore noodles with chicken and it is by far the best of anywhere I’ve ever had. My girlfriend always gets the chicken broccoli over white rice and she absolutely loves it. I highly recommend this location for quality Chinese food.

This place always messed up my order and they don’t replace it of you already leave the store. Always check your food before leaving!

The restaurant is admittedly unassuming, and I almost decided against going in, but I'm happy that I tried it. There's a large assortment of dim sum and bao. I ordered several dishes, and each one was delicious, filling, and plentiful. Additionally, they offer chrysanthemum tea, which was delightful . The service was decent-the food came out quickly after ordering. The server wasn't unpleasant but wasn't overtly friendly either, I'd say professionally cordial.

One adult and two kids left with a $97 bill plus tips. I feel this is pricey. The food was cold and tasted so-so. Considering the cost, I might prefer going to the dim sum buffet in DC instead of Mai Dragon. -

Mai Dragon is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to in the US. The food is authentic, fresh, and delicious. I haven’t been disappointed yet. I am so happy to have found this awesome place. I personally recommend the crispy beef! Don’t overlook Mai Dragon, it’s absolutely amazing.

Authentic Cantonese dim sum and menu items, also some fusion. Everything was very good. All items are made in house unlike other dim sum places where they get frozen stuff flew in from who knows where and just reheat and serve. CLEAN FOOD Portions are large and fulfilling! We enjoyed our Dim Sum meal here a lot!

Best Chinese Food Restaurant in the Area. We always order for this be it individually or for our company lunch events. They have great extensive menu so everyone can get what they want. Definitely recommend for some great food for a great price.

Best chinese place I’ve found in years. Was recommended by a coworker and have had delivery 3 times and pick up once and all times the food was delicious and fresh. I love the crispy shrimp roll and wonton soup! The staff is very kind too if you need any extras or modifications

I ate the chicken chow mein for dinner. The food was OK, but a wait person kept walking past my table and kept watching me eat. It made me feel very uneasy and they had Fox News on their TV. I will not be eating here again.

This is absolutely THE BEST Dim Sum place in the area. IF you know what to order you’ll have the best experience here. We ordered a few of our “must haves” and we were beyond stuffed afterwards. The food here is just so fresh and full of flavors. Atmosphere is hectic at times…depending on when you get there but the service is fast. If you haven’t experienced this place, my suggestion is to study their menu ahead of time and be prepared to order by item number (if you’re order Dim Sum.) But trust me, whatever you order you will not be disappointed!

Delicious and authentic. Good portions and very reasonably priced lunch menu. Parking lot can be a hassle, so come earlier if on a lunch break.

Have been going there for years, family agrees out of all the local Asian Cuisine one feels the most authentic! Every time all the time the same dishes for us but that's and we aren't brave enough to try something different because they just always do the dishes we like to justice. Pickled cabbage, Beef Casselrole, Fried Squid, Chowfun, and a few others! You also don't find many places owing up to their mistakes and apologizing to the customer. Today they made the wrong order and per courtesy gave it without charge and gave our actual order!

I believe they purposefully mischarged us. They added on an extra $10 to the total that was charged to my card after we left. I already left a 20% tip so this was hardly necessary. Good food but very disappointed they would do this. I clearly wrote the amounts on the receipts.

Compared to the 5 Dim Sum places in Montgomery County, this ranks mediocre. Not bad. Not mindblowing either. Just an average lunch. I'd give it 4 stars if they had more special items instead of Sushi. Overall, a good first place to introduce authentic Dim Sum to local friends. Just not to my tourist Aunt or cousins from Hong Kong.

Tried something new. I usually get the Spicy Temptation, but went with the Salmon Temptation this time. Still good! Also, my picture doesn't do it justice. I've never eaten in at this location, but I get delivery all the time. The food has never been bad. They've also never messed up an order (knock on wood). I usually order on the Beyond Menu app, but when I've called, the employees have always been friendly. The delivery drivers have always been nice as well. Definitely recommend this restaurant for good Chinese food and sushi.

So far the worst place to order! I spent $30, and out so was trash! They brought everything uncooked and packed because he said, $ 3 wasn’t enough tip for delivery! They are rude! Save your money and order somewhere else.

We went during lunch and had dim sum (and my son had beef chow mein). We tried several dimsum (har Gao, fried shrimp ball, pork bun, and a few others) and everything was fantastic except for the 1/4 duck. Duck was fine but not sure I would order it as a dimsum menu. I would love to visit again if I am in MD again.

I love the food from Mai Dragon. The service has always been great. I wish they changed the appearance a little but overall, it's really good.

This is one of the best Dim Sum spots in Maryland. They normally serve dim sum from 11 o’clock all the way to 4 PM. Everything s served hot and fresh & authentically delicious. Services here most of the times is pretty good , except when they are super busy, then, during those times service might be of lagging. This restaurant’s atmosphere has a typical Chinese restaurant decor , nothing fancy, and they keep it fairly clean. Since this restaurant is located in a shopping center. so parking is very convenient & close to grocery store, coffee shop, and other stores. Highly recommend by @winedinenvacay.

I ordered delivery. It was delicious and made me feel nostalgic for a time in my life when I ate this kind of food every single week. I spent 27 dollars (with tax and tip) and I ate that food for an entire day, and breakfast the next day. Quality food, and a pretty good value from the portions. I will be ordering again any time I want to treat myself.

This is my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant. It's usually full of Chinese customers - so it's the "real deal" The sushi bar is first rate, and the service is always excellent. This is the place to go for good, authentic Chinese food.

Some food was really good, fresh and hot, some food was really cold. I do recommend shrimp dumplings pork ribs. The chicken feet were a little sweet but cooked through well. Beef chow fun was cold when we got it, but it did taste good. Overall the price was good for the food portion, food was hit or miss, some were really delicious, we ordered shrimp and bean sprouts dumplings that was the favorite of all the orders we got. Definitely recommend that one.

This place is my one and only - true and trusted dim sum restaurant that I go to and order from when i’m craving dimsum! I’m so happy that they are so close to where I live. Quality and the service is always fantastic! When it’s available, get the egg tarts!!

Authentic Chinese food. Shocking find in the middle of Arundel county

ALLERGEN ALERT: ‼️ ⚠️⚠️⚠️‼️ the Lo-Bak-Gou turnip cake has dried shrimp in it. I ordered this because it looked primarily vegetarian, but noticed it didn’t have the “(vegetarian)” mark, and ended up eating it even though I’m allergic to shrimp! 🦐 A bit worried what will happen to me because this just happened, but still, three stars because the food was affordable and so delicious, I just wish they had clearly labeled that the Lo-Bak-Gou has shrimp.

Mai Dragon has so many options, you can definitely find something that is fantastic for your tastes. Dim sum menu is fantastic, but you have to know what you like otherwise you may be shooting in the dark. Everybody loves dim sum #1. Besides that, my favorites are 2,6,7,10,30. 1/2 lb roasted pork (pic thin slices) from dim sum menu was not very tasty. Pass. Order the West Lake Soup (pic) to accompany your dim sum. Delicious, serves 2-4 people. Sep2020 mixed seafood over crispy noodle (pic) was awesome. I've always loved their salt and pepper fried pork as well. 1/2 lb. crispy fried pork belly (pic) was really good, definitely enough for two. Chopped Chicken app was okay but some of the meat was dried out, did NOT like the Meat Dumplings app. Saltfish chicken and tofu casserole (pic) was right up my alley, but the saltfish seemed a bit more spoiled than It should have been. Interestingly, brought half the dish home and reheated for dinner and it was better than at lunch time, the over pungent saltfish had blended in. Spicy Thai sauce chicken (pic) drunken noodles was not good. Sauce was bland and chicken overcooked. Singapore Noodles beef (pic) was excellent. Best in town. NOT overly dry like other places. Good amount of tasty egg, green onion, sprouts, & beef in the yellow curry stir fry noodle. Beef a little chewy but still tender in small slivers. Golden Sand Shrimp was supposed to be buttery and rich, but it was one of the most bland dishes I've had here. The breading had NO flavor, maybe they used veggie shortening instead of butter? I peeled that off and ate the tasty shrimp instead. MaPo tofu that looks like Chinese chicken pot pie was pretty good, rich sauce. I had the mad chicken with the tofu. Seafood tofu soup for two was decent but bland broth and even the seafood pieces didn't seem to bring a lot of flavor.

We have been looking for a really good Asian restaurant for awhile. We finally found it! We ordered the hot and sour soup; pork and vegetarian and both were delicious with plenty of flavor. We also ordered Szechuan chicken and Moo Shu Shrimp. Both were sooo good and delicious. I even ask for my dish spicy and it was the perfect amount of spice! The chicken Szechuan could have been spicier. The portions are huge the wait staff is really polite and efficient. I highly recommend!

Love this place, food is great and they are always nice! Brought some work friends for dim sum and they loved it as well. Their food is pretty authentic, so my only warning is that if you are used to your 'standard Chinese-American take-out', some dishes might be different than what you expected. I would suggest adding photos to their online menu to help with that misunderstanding, otherwise awesome food and awesome service!

We are from out of state and had a taste for Chinese food. So we decided to give this shot. My husband got the pork belly, not knowing that it is generally a catered item, so it was ridiculously overpriced. But he said it was good, so that is all that matters. I got the vegetable delight and it was 75% broccoli. But I can say that the sauce was delicious. But I would suggest cutting back on the broccoli and maybe adding some other vegetables. Just the opinion of a vegetarian. My husband also got the beef fried rice and he was very pleased with the portion sizes. So there is plenty left over for tomorrow. The taste was good too. Lastly, we got the crab Rangoon. I do not eat meat and I was convinced it was fresh crab, so I did not try it. But again the hubby liked it. So that’s what matters :-) I guess I just get stuck on the price. Our food was $50 for 2 people.

I tend to get food delivered from this restaurant often. It always arrives earlier than expected, and the food is always warm and delicious. There are plenty of vegetarian options, and I always recommend this place to my out-of-town friends.

So disappointed, their dim sum tasted like it’s from the package and just heated it up. The food was even not hot enough. The fried taro didn’t even taste like taro and so greasy. It was very expensive too 😒 So disgusting!! I will NEVER go back to this restaurant again and will tell all my friends about my bad experience😡

Lively atmosphere. Delicious food. All our entrees were vegan, quite impressive! I sure don't remember the names, but there was tofu, vegan beef, vegan chicken, and vegan shrimp. The waitress said she was a vegan, and they have a separate kitchen for vegan cooking. Wow.

Great dim sum selection- dim sum stops at 4 pm. Ordered online ahead of time and order was ready at the time they promised. Great authentic Chinese dim sum! Will definitely be back!

This is a great dim sum spot if you're into that! If you haven't tried it yet, definitely give it a shot! While it might not be to the same level as some of the joints in DC or Baltimore, it's still an oasis of incredible dishes in the middle of Maryland. Be warned, though, their dumpling sizes (and other bites) are larger than you might be used to, so order accordingly! This is not a downside by a long shot, as it suffers no loss in quality. Just know that you might be getting a lot more than you thought. It could use a little love on the inside (fresh pain, new furnishings, etc), but don't let that dissuade you from some seriously good eats. We love this place and just wish we could make it there more often!

I stopped by for lunch dim sum and it was great, on par with places in Flushing (Queens), NY. The only issue is being solo I could try as much as I wanted to! Definitely a must stop if you are in the area. I'll be back for sure.
