Bland. Boring. Nasty margaritas. Italian tasting salsa. And strong cleaning chemicals. No thanks

I would have done a half a star for the food because I consider Taco Bell 10x better. The whole meal was bland and was cooked for an old man.

Service was good. Food was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Upgraded interior has added interest to dining experience. Now serving beer and wine. Great place to eat.

The dude just can't seem to keep the drinks full and chips coming. People Only at two tables, still had to get up and go ask for a refill

It was fine. I got there kinda late, but the service was ok. The food seemed a little over priced for the portions, but I guess that's everywhere now.

This is our little neighborhood Mexican restaurant, and we love it. The staff is friendly, food is consistently delicious. I'm working on eating my way through the menu and haven't been disappointed yet!

Hands down the best Enchiladas Supreme on this side of the bridge. The chorizo dip was to die for when at proper temp and the churros were better than their competitors. I didn’t even eat inside, doordashed it and still was bomb.

We are always impressed by the food here. Service is great too as well as prices. New clean look - just remodeled!

Staff is great, no wait to be seating. Food is delish & they serve 2-4-1 drinks all day! Affordable. Great, calm environment. Would be a great place for a super large party. BEST SALSA IN TOWN

Chips are fresh. Salsa is not good. The rest of the food is really good.

The food was meh. I got a burrito topped with watery cheese and canned refried beans it tasted like. Also, the salsa tasted like store bought petite diced tomatoes with no spice. I was kinda disappointed because I came for a torta but they were out of bread.

Stopped in here for dinner and they had really good service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and the prices were fair. Green burrito was awesome. It was my first stop into this local favorite but I will return.

Simple no frills authentic Mexican- BEST IN TOWN. They keep it simple and do it right. I always get tacos and they are consistently crunchy on the bottom- other places don’t get this right. The 31c steak burrito is delicious, and so are the burrito bowls. The chips are warm and the salsa is good. It’s a great place to eat and relatively affordable.

Other than being a tad warm temperature wise inside, I can't complain. The tortillas were handmade for the tacos. The food had a great flavor. Service was great.

I love Old Mexico!!! Way better than El Jalisco. The salsa at Old Mexico is the best in town and the queso.... mmm MMM mmm, super delicious. I always get great service, it's always clean, my drink stays full, the chips are warm, it's fantastic. They've got a great staff, if you tip well, they'll remember you pretty quickly. I've been to J Michaels, Triple J's, Famous NY, and Old Mexico is my favorite restaurant in Panama City. After living here for a year now Old Mexico is still my favorite restaurant. Two tacos with queso is my favorite meal!

I got really sick eating from here, about 30 minutes after eating, I started feeling super nauseous. I’m on day 2 of recovering from food poisoning right now

I do not know how rice and beans can taste so bad- I had a craving for rice and beans and I was in the shopping complex so I thought I would try grabbing some to go. The beans were very watery and bland but also a bit sour tasting? The rice was insanely dry and crunchy. Giving 3 stars because I did not order anything other than this- so maybe I just got very old beans and rice and the food would have been good. Might work up my courage to try a real meal someday but not sure...

The worst restaurant i have been in it was very hot inside the staff is rude its nothing like it used to be me and my wife loved coming here till they went under new management

In a word AMAZING! Under new management and ownership. The food is authentic flavorful cooked perfectly. The owner came to the table and said the blessing with us.

Although the menu did not list specific vegan options, the staff were very helpful in putting together an amazing vegan meal for us (fajitas and burritos). The restaurant was very clean. The service was fast and pleasant. We look forward to becoming regulars.

Dry chicken tacos and no beans or rice with the meal. Thank goodness for Taco Bell hot sauce because I didn't get sauce either.

I finally got to eat here for the first time with me and my family earlier on Friday Night for dinner, my Beef and Cheese Nachos with Tomato and Lettuce was yummy other than they could have left the guacamole and sour cream off, but that’s okay simple mistake including the wrong refill of regular Coke as well instead of Mr. Pibb, but other than that definitely will be back soon! 😋

My lifetime companion a true Mexican from Yuma Arizona Robert Sierra and myself 11 years ago road our bikes from Southport in 100 degree temp to eat here best Mexican food in bay county that was in 2010. Today nearly 11 years later we were greeted by this very young fella who had the biggest smile he seated us and I said to him it must be happy hour because of his happy smile. The food amazing the service exceptional. I would recommend this place with a 10 star rating headed back tomorrow.

Really good food! Usually have it ready before I get there to pick it up. Never any issues with food, except they forgot my queso one time! I should of checked I guess. Won't hold it against em it's really good!

Me and my wife have eaten here 3 times so far and ever since the first time we entered the establishment we have been treated like family the service and food are always excellent and if the manger does not like how something looks when it gets to your table he will come over and tell you something is wrong with it and take it back to the kitchen and have them remake it

I had a great time. Great service and great food. The server Ivan was all by himself and did an amazing job.

The staff is always friendly and let you eat your meal without standing over your shoulder. Havent ordered anything that wasnt great. Only criticism would be consistency. The Ribeye was fantastic the first time I had it, good the 2nd time but not the same flavor as the first.

Best Mexican food I've had in a long time!!! They're service is fast and friendly. My first visit I was upset. I got home and saw one of the items I'd ordered wasn't there. I called and they offered me a refund, no problem, no attitude or anything. Before putting it in the fridge to return to them the following day, I ate a few bites to take my medication before bed. After that first bite I was hooked!! When I got there, I was greeted by the same cashier, a server and a manager. They immediately took the bag and I informed him I didn't want a refund, I wanted the food replaced. In NO TIME, the manager returned with food in hand. He opened each box and made sure everything was correct and I was pleased. Having food service experience, I know ALL restaurants make mistakes. It's not about being perfect, it's about what you do to repair the situation. I can honestly say, I was EXTREMELY satisfied!!! Not only with the food but the polite and respectful manner in which they fixed the situation!! Old Mexico will DEFINITELY be MY CHOICE ANYTIME I have Mexican for lunch/dinner!!! Their staff is absolutely WONDERFUL and the food, OMG the food is AMAZING!!! I ordered the "E" on the menu and it was "lick the bowl clean" good!! Given time, I do plan to try most everything else!! Don't settle for Taco hell, make it to Old Mexico Heaven!!!
