We have visited Park Lane many times. This, by far was our best experience. We were seated for brunch the moment we walked in- and they were busy! Nadia greeted us at our table and brought us waters! Her energy and enthusiasm were appreciated. Mimosas were extraordinary. Ordered the Crab Benedict that was top notch and the Steak and Eggs. That steak was perfectly prepared and melted in your mouth. Did I mention they were busy? Service and food were fabulous! Thank you!

We’ve been coming to this delightful English style pub for years. The service and food are always fabulous. Pictures show the French dip, a chicken sandwich my wife ordered, a kids meal pizza, and a pickle fries appetizer. I always look forward to the French dip, especially with their special au jus sauce that is thicker and more flavorful. This place also has some daily specials you may want to check. The most notable is that on Wednesday you get the beef wellington for $8 off. Lastly, the atmosphere is wonderful. They obviously put care into making it have the English pub atmosphere. There’s actually a large throne table I’ve wanted to sit at for slightly larger parties.

I had been craving a London Broil, and this dish at Park Lane certainly sufficed. The salad was also very good, but man the steak was very very good. Service was great too. And the atmosphere is pretty unique. Feels very European, with a lot of unique tables to sit at. Really pleasant atmosphere.

Park Lane Tavern has become a favorite restaurant of our family. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it for the food and atmosphere. We came here on a Saturday late afternoon for early dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. We ordered the Bavarian Pretzels for an appetizer as it is a favorite of all of ours. We have two kids and they love the pretzels and cheese dip with the spicy mustard. My son and I ordered the Boddington's Fish and Chips as it is our favorite and is so good! My daughter ordered the Alpine Chicken Sandwich and said it was by far he best sandwich she has had and would order again. My husband ordered the Beef Wellington and I asked our server if she could do something special for his birthday as a surprise. She said they don't do anything for free, which was fine and understandable, but said she could put a birthday candle in anything we want, so I asked her to put it in his entree when they brought it out. She came out with his entree with a candle in his mashed potatoes. Lol! My husband thought it was hilarious and we sang to him the "Happy Birthday" song. It was a fun and memorable experience as usual, but we were appreciative of our server going the extra mile to accommodate my husband's birthday. My husband and I also ordered drinks which were exceptional. I had the Lemoncello Spritz and he ordered a bourbon flight. We had a great time! Thank you!!

Have been there many times before and went yesterday with a friend. I couldn’t believe that they don’t offer bread with your meal (or even crackers). They charge $1 for a slice of a baguette! This is amazing for a restaurant that isn’t inexpensive!

Great place. Service was slow but ok. Didnt seem they were that busy for it to be so slow. However, I still would recommend this place and will come back when in town again.

We had an amazing time there. The food was delicious! Gouda stuffed bacon burger and beef Wellington were our choice and both were very tasty. Being Friday the martinis were $5. We loved the big chairs at the head of the tables. Oh, and for dessert try the brownie and the cheesecake, both amazing. Tu sum up, totally recommended.

The Beef Wellington was so good I walked in with a southern accent and walked out talking like a Peaky Blinder.

Great place for fish and chips. That, and the calamari are the only entrees I order. Atmosphere can be very lively. The bar area always has patrons and people go there for group dinners a lot.

Ate here for my first time the other day and LOVED it! Food was amazing, I wanted to try something new and had the Jager schnitzel, so glad I did! I love the atmosphere! My husband's corned beef sandwich was delicious too! I'm so glad we went here. Although I will comment that it was LOUD the way the space is set up and the lighting was VERY low. I don't know if an older crowd would appreciate this place as much as we did. Thanks for a great meal and service! We'll be back! We went back and just as good! I wish this was closer, I'd be coming here all the time! This time less crowded, which was nice!

1st time at Park Lane. Absolutely loved it. Will definitely go back. I had corn beef and cabbage. My husband had beef wellington, both were delicious! Service was also excellent. Only minor complaint is the a/c wasn't keeping it cool enough, felt a little warm. But overall great place and I highly recommend it!!

Been here a few times. First few were perfect. Last visit the food was only okay. Firecracker shrimp are good but not enough shrimp for the high pricetag. More shrimp and less jalapeno slices would make it better. Burger was requested medium and came well done instead. Why ask how you'd like it if you can't even come close. Lydia did a great job and service was excellent. Hope next time the food is back up to par like past experiences.

Affordable with daily specials that you can take advantage of. The Wellington was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Also had bread pudding that was one of the best I've had.

After almost 3 years here I accidentally stumbled upon this place and wished it would have been the first ones I would have run into. Even living temporarily an hour away from here it was totally worth it to come here on my last dinner in this town. I did not expect this but this is the cap of it all. This if you are over 35 years old is the perfect place to take a date. It is well let's not too dark where you can at least see the menu the perfect ambience and the music isn't blaring or you can hold a decent conversation. And none of that badonkadonk and yo yo yo music that us older people really cannot relate to at this time. Kyle who I have to give 100 thanks to for making our night very memorable and pleasant is a big addition, he accommodated us because my friend is diabetic and she could not have any sugars and had to have real lemon which he provided for the two drinks. Nothing cheated there her blood sugar did not spike. The Bourbons that he picked for my flight were good as well but I guess my taste buds are changing because my knobs Creek wasn't like it was 20 years ago but that's not on him. The music is very inviting if you are in your upper 40s and 50s, lots of 80s music some 70s I believe it was just great all around. The food! The wings were good, but the brussel sprouts are out of the ballpark! Perfect with the spring mix that is on the bottom and you can cheat a little bit and dab a little bit with ranch that you have on your leftover wings and you're in for a mouth explosion. I'm going to miss this place already and I've only been here once. The prices on the menu you would expect to be on the high end but let me tell you something, they are very very reasonable for what you get in here! I was expecting to pay over $100 for two people nonetheless it was only 80 Now I understand why this place has a lot of good reviews and they are totally right.

Loved this place and found completely by chance. The decor and atmosphere was great, a very impressive bar area. The food was also fantastic. We got there right as they opened so not sure if that had any impact as they weren't busy, but there were so many delicious options we have to go back.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Fredericksburg. The food, drinks, and bartenders are amazing. Kyle is especially great. As someone who loves her bourbon, Kyle always knows what to recommend. It’s nice to have a bartender who is actually knowledgeable when it comes to bourbon.

Closest thing to a pub as you'll find this side of the pond (only larger). Large and amazing handmade bar, great food, and one of the best whisk(e)y selections in the area. Update: A couple years since I left my initial review, so I'm back to increase my rating from 4 to 5 stars. This is one of my favorite places in the area. I've been there for dinners, for brunch, sometimes just to grab a couple of drinks, and to some of their special events. I often take out of town visitors. It never disappoints. When they're jammed (and that happens often), it can take a while to be seated, but it's always been worth the wait to me. The wait staff is always on the ball, and I've always been pleased with the food. Billy, the GM, is a great guy and a generous host. They frequently get hold of some of the highly allocated VA ABC releases, so it's a great place to sample an occasional 'unicorn' liquor, and the pour prices are really very reasonable. I've had the opportunity to try some things there that I've never seen in the wild.

S at the bar for 10 minutes while the bartender was talking to fellow patrons and did not greet us. Ridiculous …. She then proceeded to tell us no grill, no fried food. Poor communication from the lady who seated us.

First, the decorations are wonderful, nice heavy darkstained furniture, and the staff was friendly. Food is a mix of burgers, sandwiches, and British Isles themed items. There is a gluten-free menu, but you have to ask for it. My wife had the gluten-free shepherds pie--said it was a little dry, but didn't taste like dust, so a win. My burger was good. My daughter's pretzel was good, as well. Price wasn't great, but not terrible, either.

Service was good, as was the food. We were in town for work, and this was the second time we've eaten there, and I was not disappointed at all.

Our group has been meeting at Park Lane for several months. Every time that we meet there, the whole experience has been great!! The manager (Alex) has always been very helpful and he is on top of everything, the service has always been great and the food is delicious! We really enjoy having our meetings at Park Lane!

I had a fantastic experience at Park Lane last night. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. Steven, the bartender, truly made my visit exceptional. He was not only incredibly personable but also attentive to every detail of my visit. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made sure I never had an empty glass throughout the evening. I opted to sit at the bar for a beer and to order some food to go, and I couldn't have been more pleased. The food came out promptly and was absolutely delicious, prepared exactly as I had requested with no issues whatsoever. Overall, Park Lane exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of excellent service from Steven and delicious food made for a memorable evening. I will definitely be back soon and would highly recommend Park Lane to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.

Our 2nd night here, the food is delicious, the dessert is amazing, we will def be back regularly. 😁👍🏼 We are regulars now lol. Stopped by for a Father's Day dinner. Food was great as usual. If you're looking for some good food in a great atmosphere then pay them a visit. 😁👍🏼👍🏼

If you ever want to make a pick up order from Park Lane Tavern, just skip it. They rarely answer the phone, and if they do they’ll transfer you to the bar where the phone never gets answered. You’ll wait for 20 minutes or keep trying to call back to no avail. Super frustrating because the food is great!

The food was mediocre, the service was ok, they did get my order wrong. The atmosphere was neat, they have a really great bar that’s the central part of the restaurant. We were seated in an area with a lot of foot traffic. It seemed like they put a table where there was an entrance/exit.

My server George H is the best server I’ve had in a very long time He made the experience even better and the food was amazing

Poor Management. They are not nice, Get drunk at their own jobs. The food always takes forever & orders are always wrong. The bartenders only pay attention to the regulars. Surprised nobody’s gone & checked there kitchen…..

Great food, good atmosphere and good service. I only have 4 stars for service because I was part of a large party and I think the servers were a little overwhelmed, they did a good job though so I'm not complaining. I'll definitely go back. All the appetizers were great.

I don't care if this is a small chain, I'm a complete sucker for anything resembling a comfortable European pub even if it's polished and professional. Big fancy wooden bar? I'm there.

Waited for an hour and five minutes from the time we ordered until the food arrived. We immediately just had the food packed and left as the kids were getting tired. The women’s bathroom stalls were all out of order and the men’s bathroom smelled like overflowing urine. Not sure what happened over the last couple years that made this place deteriorate so much.

I came here with a huge group of people after a funeral. The hostess and servers were accommodating and efficient. They did a great job keeping their cool with our crowd.

Date night! First time visiting Park Lane, I like the atmosphere looks like a nice place for happy hour. Bar tender was nice, had Guiness and black and tan...quick service. We got to our table, pretzel appetizer was good but only 3 pretzel sticks for $12. Food, my hubby had a burger and fries, he enjoyed it. My food, initially I had the Makers Mark grilled chicken unfortunately I had to return it the chicken was rubbery. No issues with the replacement I ordered the salmon. No complaints about that. Our end bill was $69. They took the rubbery chicken off...OK. the salmon dish was not comp...paid the $22 for it. I don't forsee a visit back to the establishment anytime soon. When I do go back it will be for beers and appetizers during happy hour.

Had the fish and chips. Awesome piece of Haddock. Liked some other things on the menu for future visits. Would highly recommend.

Came here Easter Sunday when we were looking for a restaurant off I95 that served gluten free food. Worth the stop! Fast and friendly service. Everyone in our party was happy, including my celiac. Portions are gigantic.... you will not leave hungry! Most recent visit was June 2, 2024 and this is still a great place to have lunch! Our celiac had his own menu with great choices. Portions are still gigantic and everything tasted great! Raegan R was a great server.

I stopped in for their fish and chips this past saturday. Never had them before, but I was told they were good. I sat at the bar. The staff is friendly. Great bartender, had a lemon drop martini. $8.00 with a 50 charge for titos. Good price on the drink. The food was good. It was about 19.00 for my entree. without tax. On Mondays you can get fish and chips half price. I will be back. Steak fries could have been a tad more generous for the price point. However, i still enjoyed my meal.

Naomi was absolutely amazing. I told her that I was really dehydrated and she brought the bottle to refill my water everytime she went by the table. We were discussing a knob creek mixed drink and she also let us know they had all the ingredients. A shot of knob creek in mug root beer was amazing. THANK YOU NAOMI! Also everyone should get the Brussel sprouts appetizer, it is to die for.

General a good bet for a variety of food options. Rarely is there a bad experience, sometimes there are great ones. 9 out of 10 times the service is spot on. 10 out of 10 times the bartenders are spot on. 8 out of 10 times the kitchen is good. Jayla is awesome!

I was here yesterday for lunch with friends. I always wanted to try a proper British pub. They have a nice variety of beers including German and American IPAs in addition to the British selection. The beers were fantastic, and very refreshing. The service was very helpful and attentive. I had the Guinness chilli which was brilliant! Very very delicious and must be had often. I had the Beef Wellington for the first time ever. I get the hype now. I'm not going to crave it like I do crave a steak but I understand the appeal. It was beautiful. The pictures are not doing it justice, it was smaller than I thought it would be but that was great because I ate a lot. It's as big as a large sweet potato or a stuffed potato you get at a steakhouse. On the opposite side of the coin, I also had the fish and chips! It was absolutely phenomenal! Again, the pictures on the website are misleading because the fish and chips unlike the Beef Wellington look smaller but it is absolutely massive! Proper batter, fish, with what we call here in the states "steak fries" absolutely fantastic. It's worth coming here on a Monday when the fish and chips are 1/2 off 👍👍👍 and at the I had the greatest bread pudding I ever had. Jamison raisin bread pudding with ice cream was spectacular!!!! The ambiance and vibe was very calming, friendly and inviting. The place wanted you to stay. It had carefree quality about it, very "old world." Looking forward to the next visit! 😃

Food, wait staff, and atmosphere were on point for what I was hoping for. Was not a fan of music being played. But that won't stop me from going back.

Literally our first time here was a 5 star 💫 wow. We always looked at this place and never tried it. So glad that we changed up our date night. Also, we really appreciated Alex the kitchen manager’s professionalism and his service to us was such an "old fashioned treat!" Literally 5 stars for food service and ambiance!

Great vibes, good service and tasty food

I was looking for an old, historic place to eat but didn't have the time to veer off 95 much, so the Park Lane was a lovely solution. The bar and atmosphere is from jolly Ole england, and the menus are suggestions of the continent. The dishes are slightly "americanized" versions of the traditional but are interesting none the less.

I enjoyed the fish and chips immensely and was very happy with the service and ambiance. The fish and fries were both perfectly prepared and the beer batter was crispy and flavorful and the tartar sauce had fresh dill. The restaurant was hopping on a Monday night thanks to their half price special.

Says accept reservations but does not. It’s first come first serve. Food was good though. But minus stars for not being honest that it does NOT take reservations.

Visited here in Feb 2024. Only took one awkwardly angled photo of this absolutely beautiful bar. Sat at the bar with my aunt and had a bite and drinks. The place was packed but we found last 2 chairs on the backside of the bar. There was a lot of people working behind the bar, but service was still little slow. They may have been training someone or they were new but still got taken care of fairly quick. I ordered an smoked old fashion that was presented in a box, (Pretty COOL)and aunt got a margarita, like always. The drinks we good and when we order food it came out pretty fast over all. My Beef Wellington was awesome and her jagerschnitzal delish. The atmosphere is good, they could use a few more TV's. Some seats have little to no viewing angle, such as our seats at bar. Over great experience and will return for use next trip up.

Had a great meal once we moved. I know it is a tavern but when one table is so overwhelming, loud and obnoxious to the point where you can't even hear the person that is across the table, it's a little out of hand. Management should have stepped in. But besides that the food was delicious and the service was very good. The only suggestion might be change the menus out. They were very worn, crumbly and torn. Also the top of the booth could use a dust rag.

Came on a Thursday night and it was pretty empty. The first thing i noticed was the spectacular wood interior decor. Boddingtons fish & chips were fantastic and I'd recommend, but for me the bread pudding was the highlight of the meal. Everything came in large portions. The waitress forgot our appetizer and came out with the entrees first, but gave us free beverages to make up for it, which I appreciate. London broil was alright, not as flavorful. Fried calamari was very tender and crispy, the sauces it came with weren't that great in my opinion. When we asked for it to go, the waitress gave us a cup of "boom boom" sauce that paired much better.

English style pub. Never had any issues with food or service. It's a good go-to spot for drinks as well. One of the better spots for beef wellington or fish and chips.
