Tldr: Just not worth it. You'll get stuck forever in a drive-through only to get the wrong, poorly prepared order. Day might be better, but the night crew just isn't worth trying to get food from.

So I asked for red beans with light rice.And I was given the red beans and rice that have settled on the warmer with more rice and fewer beans. I return it, and this is what I got, and speaking their native language in front of customers is rude when they are trying to communicate with you. I swear the mgr. Is no different than crew. To pay 3.29 this should be more than this

Slow service, repeated issues with orders, terrible attitude from the employees. Add in the fact they nickel and dime you by charging for individual items in meals & combos, and you have plenty of reasons to spend your money elsewhere.

this store location is probably the slowest you can find in the area. no matter what time of day the drive thru line is 5 cars deep. not because they are that popular, rather they are just slow. on average it takes me 20 minutes to get thru the line. you would think they are making the chicken fresh NOPE just slow employees taking their sweet time. Do Better !!!!

Behind the counter is always clean, I see gloves changed in the back also, friendly and polite team up in there, free parking, drive thru moves quickly and they don't run out of much no matter what time you go, oh and they're open late here! I recommend it if you're craving chicken or want some fresh chicken stop here on your way in. With all of that said.. Popeyes is too damn high😁

Food and service, at least for me, has always been fairly good. Only takeaway is that the larger the order, the likelihood something will be forgotten.

I ordered today at the drive-thru. The employee was friendly and helpful, although he seemed to have a hard time understanding me. Nonetheless, my food was ready very quickly and the order was correct. Everything was hot and prepared correctly.

I ordered online. Arrived 35 minutes later and they hadn’t even prepared my food. Then they told me that they no longer had any spicy wings because it was almost closing. They weren’t closing for another hour and 10 minutes! This location is always awful. I’ll drive out of my way to go to another location before I drive 5 minutes to this Popeyes ever again!

I did two online pick order, they didn’t have the food and told me to get my refund online. I was messing with someone and they were online willing to give me half of my money, so they are robbing people of their money.

I wanted to tell your company about a scam being ran at the Store# 2829 at 2612 Annapolis Road in Severn, MD 21114. Today at 12:17 pm I went to that location to get a 5pc combo with a mango lemonade at the drive thru. When I went to drive thru window there was a male that took my debit card card for payment. He was taking really long giving my credit card back and I couldn’t see what he was doing because how the window is the register where they do transactions was off to the side. Through the window, I could see a young woman on her phone and it looked like she was taking pics of the back and front of something and writing something in her phone. The young guy that took my card went to the woman and she gave him something really small and it wasn’t anything like a fork or straw or food. He then returned to the side where I couldn’t see him again where I suspect that’s when he finally charged my card.in the amount of $13.87. After some time he finally handed me the card, receipt, and food . I suspect the young woman is taking pics of customers credit cards (back and front) before charging to steal credit card information . It took way too long for him to hold on to my card and to be honest there was no reason for her phone to be out ( which needs to be banned in that area) and why she handed him something back after being in her phone before he hands my card back to me. You can look at the cameras to see that the times that I am giving u match. And it happened today on 2/13/2024 . This scam has been going on in the Maryland area and I feel strongly that this is happening at this establishment which I will no longer be coming to. I will also be sure to share this experience with media, friends and reviews. Please do something about that. They probably are stealing a lot of credit card information. Be careful giving credit card at this location. UPDATE: As stated I got my food at 12:30 and by 3:30 I had stomach cramps and the only thing I ate was Popeyes from this location. I was throwing up and had diarrhea at the same time. Body chills and body and headaches. FOOD POISONING. Stay clear of this place. I will never go again after they stole my credit card info and now food poisoning.

Service at this location is usually slow. Drink options from the app don't match what they actually have. Last time I visited this location, I ordered the 1/4lb of popcorn shrimp. It used to be really good. This time, there were about five pieces of shrimp. All the other pieces were just dry, overcooked batter. Check for sauces. I'm always told that the sauces are in the boxes (instead of the bag). Almost every time, that's false. The last time, I was in a hurry, and they told me the cocktail sauce was in the box. When I got home, not only did they not put my sauce in the box, they didn't give me a biscuit. If you can get to another location, I recommend avoiding this place.

Steer clear of this Popeyes; my son and I have been grappling with severe stomach issues for over four days post our visit. It's unclear whether the problem lies in improper oil changes or the quality of the chicken. Avoid this place at all costs.

Race discriminative will let you stand at the counter and keep looking at you but soon as a Hispanic come in to order they get immediate customer service

Ask for mashed potatoes got red beans and rice. Read honey “sauce” packet. Has corn syrup,high fructose corn syrup and added sugar.

Ordered 3 different wing flavors. They were all amazing. The coating could have been a little better on the honey BBQ wings however still delicious. The staff looked really nice in their bright orange t-shirts. Cleanliness of the floor could be better so that when you are looking through the drive thru window you don't see random things on the floor.

Don’t go here unless you want to sit in the drive thru for 20 minutes and deal with rude employees just to get to the window and then tell you they don’t have what you ordered anyway. You might try to go inside to avoid the long line where you will be greeted with even ruder employee aka shift supervisor. It’s no wonder they are always hiring who would want to work for such a jerk.

Customer service was terrible. I ordered a 3 piece chicken white meat that included a breast and two chicken wings and 3 biscuits. The person gave me 2 thighs and a drum stick with 3 biscuits. I went back through the drive-through to get the correct order, and they gave me the wrong order again. The guy didn't bother to get me the current order or asked to verify the order. He just asked for my credit card and refunded the money back. I asked for a supervisor and he said there isn't a supervisor. Worst Popeyes Restaurant ever. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COST!

Food was decent - cooked well and tasted fresh. However, I’m a bit disappointed at the lack of cleanliness of this restaurant. Food establishments should be extra clean - doors, windows, floors, counters, bathrooms, fryers, sinks, tables, fountains.. etc. There was hair on the counter when I arrived and it was before 10:30 AM which showed me that a deep cleaning was not done either the night before or early in the morning. Before a customer comes into this restaurant in the morning, please make sure it is extra clean. I was a bit sickened to see hair on the counter.

I'll just say that THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!! They could learn a great deal about exceptional customer service from another restaurant, which is nearby.

Went to the drive thru on October 24, 2023 at 10pm. Specials on Tuesday but they have no chicken and no sandwiches, only sides. I left. How do you run a business with no chicken?

I know this place is new but they get every order I have placed wrong. Something is either not what I ordered or I don't get the item at all. The staff are friendly and the food is fresh, but I'd like it to also be right.

The workers decide when they close. It's an hour till closing time, why aren't we taking orders? That's crazy.

I got 2 items and people who walk in after me walk out here before me with a bigger order. 5 pc tender and chicken sandwich. It’s an order that is not complicated.

Don't bother placing an online order for pickup at a certain time, because they won't have it ready. "Order will be ready for pickup at 5:39pm." I arrived at 5:50pm and they didn't even start getting it ready until I got there and gave them my name. That makes no sense. 5-10 minutes later they finally had everything together.

Hit or miss if you will get hot food service is bare minimum.

This experience was horrible had to repeat my order 3 times because he clearly wasn’t listening then sat in the drive thru for 10 or more minutes I literally only ordered fries smh only to get the fries and wake up this morning at 3am puking them back up something isn’t being properly cleaned or changed out in there now I fear I have food poisoning im never eating there again

I’ve always had good experiences with the actual food here, but the service can be just awful. Expect to sit in the drive thru for upwards of ten minutes then having the person at the window tell you to wait even longer for the actual food to cook. If you like Popeyes, you can take the time to get it here, or you can drive to another location ten minutes away in any direction.

FOOD POISONING! Today I had Popeye's for lunch. I tried their new wings. I ordered their Cajun buffalo wings, which I think were sitting out for too long, they were very dry. A few hours later, I'm feeling bad indigestion, chills, bodyaches, dizziness. I felt fine until I ate Popeye's, and this was the only thing I ate today. They also forgot to include the sauces that I requested.

No one was wearing gloves, they were people behind the counter in the kitchen with no hair nets. It took forever to get through the line. Do not recommend this location.

Slower than molasses and utterly confused by a basic order.

There seems to always be a problem here the very few times I go. They rang my order wrong and although I told them what it was they still gave me the wrong item and 5 pieces of the fries I had ordered. Odenton location is way worth the drive although this one is closer.

I never write reviews but this place is absolute GARBAGE ! The employees are the worst. They’re so uninviting and just down right rude. Food is rarely ever made right like you ask and pay for it to be. I rarely ever come to this one if I can help it. Something needs to be done there. If I could give ZERO stars I would.

The staff was so rude. Has no manners. Talks very loudly and rudely about customers orders RIGHT in front of them saying “why did they order 12 piece wings?!” Then they would take forever to give me my card back. I get notifications when my card is swiped and so I know when they charged me. Yet I waited a full 5 min to get my card back. And then another 7 min later, when I finally get my order the little girl at the window curtly says “here.” Fix your staff. Fix your manners.

This Popeyes I use to avoid and drive out to another Popeyes. I ended up giving this location a chance and came a few times after and service has been much much better! I don’t have things missing in my order and the ppl I’m drove thru are polite. Food always fresh!

My chicken sandwich wasn't hot. I had to throw it in the trash because I'd left the restaurant. Also, you can't dine in.

Stop by this place on the way home around 8:35 pm . I used the drive through to place my order. I ordered 8 pieces of chicken and a large season French fries. I should have checked my order before leaving 😒. When I got home I open the box of chicken and found they had gave me 2 thighs 2 breast and 4 wings !! I nor anyone in the family really do not care for wings perfered the legs that should have been in the box they could have told me if they had no legs!! Also the fries was cold. I only live 5 minutes from Popeyes outside back gate. Was really disappointed 😞 in what I received. If it would not have been raining I would have taken order back. I highly recommend you check your order before leaving this Popeyes as this is not the first time my order was wrong!!

This is for the crew that worked Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 5 p.m. The cashiers & serve staff have a nasty attitude. Do not work here if you do not like your job. One teen girl and teen boy just stared with a dirty look & with no greeting. I'm happy I have patience, and still showed them kindness because, they sure needed it! To the manager, think about who you hire here and have representing your location. This isn't the first time. ***5 out of 5 stars though for the cooks! Kind and hard working, and food was good!***

Staff are clueless. I don't know if it's a training issue or a language barrier. Plan to spend at least 30 minutes ordering and finally getting your food. Corporate really needs to step in and conduct training! The service here is super slow and terrible!

Great food but most employees are rude and act as if your an inconvenience to them. They also ALWAYS and I do mean ALWAYS get your order wrong so check your bags before leaving the place.

“Closed” even though the restaurant closes at 12 am and I arrived over 45 minutes before that. Such bs I was able to order the food through online and the Uber eats driver behind me was even trying to pickup. They just closed bc the truck is being unloaded. Messed up my order, I got two spicy sandwiches instead of the one normal and one spicy I wanted. Also took a very long time, about 30 minutes. I went late though, about 8 pm. Make of that what you will.

Just your typical Popeyes but the workers there seem to be rushing. The number of times I got asked "Will that be all" while I was doing an order was upsetting. I do UberEats and I stopped accepting orders from this specific Popeyes. Their customer service is terrible! Wait time is excessive. Bunch of teenagers that don’t understand the concept of customer service. Literally every time I’ve gone in the past few months it’s been a terrible experience. Hire new people!

Sat at the drive thru order mic for a solid 2-3 mins before somebody said "Can I help you?" over the mic. Got to the window and it was just three employees yelling at one another while I was completely ignored. I eventually got my food and the food was solid but the service was a complete disaster.

We ordered takeout today for lunch, and the food was horrible. The food was cold and very greasy. The standard of this restaurant is very poor. I attempted to call the restaurant several times, and the calls were not answered. The food upset our stomachs, which is always a very bad indication that the food wasn't properly prepared or sanitary practices were not met. Certain items were replaced with other items, without our knowledge. Please use extra precautions when ordering from this location. I regret having to rate this location with one star. One star isn't warranted for our horrible experience.

Workers can't follow simple instructions or make food to the standard, even when given the benefit of the doubt and a second chance.

1- star for false advertisement. Decent food. They advertised on their indoor menu for a box and more that included a drink and some sort of dessert. I didn't get the drink or dessert and when I brought it up that I didn't get the meal as it was advertised the manager said it didn't come with those items despite it being advertised that way. The inside of this place is a dump, it's nothing more than extra storage. There were boxes stored in the dine in area on the floor, seats, and tables.

Terrible experience… not only was ordering at the drive-thru extremely painful (now I know why… the kid taking my order was listening to me in one ear and music in the other), but when I got my food… they not only forgot my children’s drinks, but mine as well as they rushed me through the window. When I got home I realized they did not give me my drinks, so I promptly drove back… only to find the manager sitting in the main seating area, on her phone… eating her meal… ignoring my knocks at the door. When she finally did come to the door, it was ME who was disturbing her slumber and not even an apology for forgetting our drinks. Our order was incorrect… no toy in the kids meal. This place is a joke!

Had a very nasty experience at this location. 2612 Annapolis Rd…. The drive thru service was terrible from the start. She continued to repeat the order incorrectly, when I kindly correct her she gets even more unprofessional. I keep my cool and go to the window, only to be called “Puta” because she still had the order wrong. Popeyes doesn’t usually treat their customers this way especially ones in a service uniform. Gabey and Nayeli were very unprofessional and disrespectful. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Always have to wait to place order. Its almost like the drive through order taker forgot that they were still working. The food is always hot and fresh but they are skimpy on the sauce packages.

Food is pretty Popeyes standard. But the staff and customer service is worst. They need to replace entire drive through setup, it takes forever to order. Staff can never hear you. Annoyed 😒, Have to repeat numerous times to order, after 9 orders are extremely long. To pick up mobil order we had to wait in drive through line for more than 40 min.

Employees were unprofessional and did not listen well. The food was cold and raw. The biscuit was as hard as the table. From the window we heard them telling the employee at the window to tell us, the customer, that they're out of this or that. With over an hour left of business hours and I couldn't get half the items on their menu. Not even dessert.

I went there for lunch on a Friday. Dining room was closed, no sign, however the drive-through was open. The business next door told me they close the DR at lunch because they do not want the kids from the high school stooping by. What a lousy business practice: there are other and better ways to still serve the kids, maintain order in the restaurant, and collect the revenue from sales to them.

when I got there to order inside, the lady manager told me to order online, cause they were having issues with the credit cards. I ordered online to pick up inside the store, when I went inside the manager told me need to pick up drive through. When I drove trough pick up I waited for 30 minutes to get to the speaker. Told the guy I ordered online, he checked and told me the order was in. When I got to the pick up window already 40 minutes waiting. The manager was talking to the employees, they did not acknowledge that I was at the pick up window. She, the manager was having a meeting with all the employees. It took 5 more minutes to be acknowledge and get my order. I do not recomend this location the managemente change from bad to a worst new management.

What happened to the size of the chicken? The wing they sent is so small that it has little to no meat. The thigh is also small and mostly breading. I haven't eaten here in a couple months, but I can't imagine that much of a change in size since then.

Waited for ten minutes in line and the girl in the window almost didn't give me the biscuits that came with my order. The guy that took my order didn't seem to understand what I was saying, but I let it go(I'm the son of an immigrant myself). However I got home to find that instead of replacing wings for extra drumsticks, I found that ALL they gave me was wings and drumsticks. No thigh or beast meat. I paid $40 for a glorified kid's meal!

Slower than slow. No straw or sauces that I requested on my online order. Update: Quick and easy pickup today. Shorted a biscuit though.
