The location is ok, but the food is not what it used to be, doesn't seem to be fresh from our last few visits

I love steak n shake I can here in everything was fresh and good steak n shake is one of my favorite places to eat the price was very reasonable for me

Food and service are good. Interesting burgers. Looks like a smaller patty with slight spacing of holes throughout. Burgers are good though. Shakes are good to but unfortunately my stomach no longer can tolerate dairy so have to pass on that sadly. I love the fries, they are the shoe string style. Service has been really great both times we've been.

I usually am totally satisfied but I guess that day was a bad day for fries, and the kiosk it wouldn't register me for my reward account. But I did learn something new, how to sign up with the face id.

I want to give my compliments to the staff who were working on 7/1/24 at 12:10 am, that was the time I placed my order and it was wonderful, and it was prepared very quickly, thank you 🙏🏽

I was visiting and went to eat there, the best burgers in the world. And very nice and tasty smoothies. Attentive and helpful staff. I will return to hi.

Good food that took little time to get to you.

When I pulled into the drive thru I was greeted by Jayden who was smiling, professional and kind. He took my order, asked if I wanted to add toppings to both of my burgers. He also asked for my name for my order and advised me of my total. Matthew in the driver thru window to pick up my food and as quick and professional. My food was correct, hot and delicious. Fresh lettuce, onion and even the tomato was on point (usually fast food tomatoes are mushy and trash) . We were very impressed with the service and quality of the food.

We want menus and waiter back. Death to the kiosks.

This place has changed a lot, it is cleaner, there is better customer service and a better atmosphere. I love hamburgers and meringades. I recommend it 100%

Food was like warm and the fries were like rocks. The burger was ok but if you are hungry order a double patty. Staff was friendly.

We waited on to pick up the food and then when we got home the food was all greasy and nasty onion rings were cold food was not prepped right I won't go back again

Great food and service, last Steak 'n Shake I've been to was back in 2017 and it was so bad that I swore to never eat in one again. Was forced to eat here today because of my pops and let me tell you that I'm really glad I've stopped by, I'll be going more often.

I didn’t realize that after Covid things were so different for steak ‘n Shake, but I’m glad this one is open because the one in South Carolina is shut down and it was the last one. They had really good food and good service would recommend.

Stopped by to get two Oreo Milkshakes. They used to be really good, but not so much anymore. We could see the Oreo crumbs once we got past the 3 INCHES of tasteless "whipped cream". The entire milkshake had absolutely no flavor. Never again!!!

Stopped at steak and shake fir first in about 5 years, could not believe all self serve, no server staff. Very disappointing but food was great

2024 UPDATE: Since management or ownership changed, the overall experience and quality at this location improved so much! Thank you! If we didn't like Steak 'N Shake so much, we would never come back to this location. I could've gave this review at least 4 stars, but the poor customer service is what kills it. 9 times out of 10 they will forget something in the drive-thru so always check your food here! If you order dipping or cheese sauce, they will put very little. Many times the girls in the window have poor, unfriendly customer service, are ghetto and look like they don't want to be there. (Don't work then. Appreciate your job!). Then they usually make us pull up to the door to wait for the food when we already waited at least 20 min or more in the drive-thru line. When they bring the food, they run back inside right away without waiting to see if we were happy with our order, forcing us, paying customers, to go inside! It's not hard to be professional and have a good attitude no matter where you work, it makes everyone's day a whole lot better, but this place can't seem to hire good employees I guess. I tried to contact Steak 'n Shakes Facebook page a couple times, but NO response. Dissapointed!

The food was okay. I don't recommend to eat in here. There chairs were torn up on the black booths to sit. They need a remodel. I kept smelling bleach. We had to leave. There weren't that many people in there, however, I like their shakes.

For all muslim who buys fast food from this location, plz pay attention thay put bacon to all burgers. Me and my friend experienced last time.

Interesting vibe, good service and great food

I have not been here in more than 5 years. The chocolate and peanut butter shake and the Nutella shake are amazing along with the bacon steak burger.

Mostly do it yourself. Friendly employees. Clean tables. Nice temperature inside the eating area.

Asked for milk shake paying also to add whip cream, and whip cream didnt have no taste at all, I was charge 39 cents extra for this whip cream. Don't order whip cream with your milk shake is not worthy.

Have a bit of butter with your burger. But still tasty.

I have not been to a steak 'n shake since 2019, then covid hit. I used to go a lot loved their season fries & they had an avocado burger, my favorite. Was so disappointed how much it had changed. No season fries or avocado burger, & they limit your refills to almost 3 cups. No longer do they bring your food to the table. That awesome dinner feel they use to have is gone.

Steak 'n Shake isn't what it used to be. The hamburgers don't taste like they used to, seems like they changed the meat quality, the milkshakes are too watery not as thick like they used to be either. What happened?? Did they sell the restaurant or change administration?? I was totally and sadly disappointed with it. I used to enjoy visiting the old fashioned Steak & Shake 50's style burger restaurant. I guess not anymore 😕 😔

Burger was much smaller, the chili overpriced for a bowl at over $5.00. Not the same SteakNShake.

Love their milkshakes but wish they had more food accommodations with people trying new types of food. But with their milkshakes it is too sweet at times.

Simple ordering at a kiosk. You get a ticket number and wait for your order to be called until you go up to the counter to pick up your tray. The atmosphere was very quiet with only a few people in the restaurant. I'd visit again for a quick meal.

It was more expensive than before Covid using the self-service system. Staff friendly, and food quality is still the same good stuff 🙂💕

They must have a new manager at this location. This used to be dirty and poorly run, truly a place to avoid. I stopped here purely out of necessity after arriving from the airport. What a pleasant surprise. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and my food was done so fast I barely had time to wash my hands after ordering. The staff was friendly and cheerful. No idea what has changed but it's night and day improvement.

This place is so clean and nice and the workers are so nice. this place is great. i definitely recommend the garlic burger. its so good!

The only thing I have to say is that the employees need to learn from Altamonte Springs Steak n' Shake how to provide excellent customer service. Altamonte Springs has A+ in service

The drive through has improved 100 fold. I can't say anything about their dine-in service though. That was absolutely horrible. However, for drive thru, this is our go to for steak burgers. They are always good and at a good price. Checkers, Burger King, and Wendy's should take notice. You can do good burgers at a reasonable price!

Hamburgers and shakes are still good but I'm just sad that everything is now served by kiosk.. No more olden days dining experience anymore 😥

I love eating at Steak & Shake and especially at this restaurant that is near my house, the guys who serve are very friendly and fast. The shakes are THE BEST, they are DELICIOUS and they had a very practical straw that was special to be able to absorb better but they eliminated them and now it is very difficult to drink the shake. PLEASE GET THESE STRAW BACK!!!

Typical Steak n Shake, aside from the ordering kiosks. Our Steak n Shake may have remained open if they had this feature. Crisp and clean restaurant. Not much interaction with staff, they are mainly in the kitchen. Bathrooms were clean. Lots of parking. Food was hot and delicious. I got the fresco melt, husband got the chicken tenders, daughter got the single cheeseburger, and our son got the double bacon cheeseburger. We all ordered milkshakes. Nice and thick served with whipped cream and a cherry.

I walked in and wasn't thrilled about the the new Kiosk style. However, in a Covid world, that's how companies are doing things. The food didn't take long and was hot and delicious. One concern, the ceiling Vents were dirty and the tiles had water stains. I can recommend a Ceiling Service? Clean Bathrooms and Clean Ceilings are important at restaurants.

I love stake & shake food, but recently, they've done away with wait staff or shall I say table service. I really miss it. I understand that they're streamlining their business model, but they're also taking away jobs. I feel that restaurants really still need a personal touch. It's very sad to see them do away with these vital jobs.

The garlic 🍔 burger is really good and the fries are different but good. The price is cheap and the service is fast.

Tried this for the first time ever a few weeks ago. Only thing different from my usual diet that week. I felt sick to my stomach about 12 hours later, lasting for about 36 hours.

The place was clean, loved the design. All I got was a shake but it was very good and I enjoyed that it was in a real glass

Love the burgers and fries! Adding cooked onions on my burger is a plus. Shakes added to a combo is the way to go.
